United States Post Office - Spring Carrier Annex

Our postal worker delivered mail at 5:45 on the evening of December 26 due to the fact that 17 carriers out of this facility called in sick. Because our carrier is female, I am concerned that she is delivering mail in the dark ! What is the supervisor doing to remedy this situation?

Our mail is not being delivered to 1425 Clark Ave because of broken Locks, this is unfortunate and USPS has to replace locks. Spring Carrier Annex has been discarding all mail not picked up same day. Isn't it illegal to throw mail in the trash, especially the United States Postal Service. I am a legal citizen and this is an illegal act, that is tolerated because of the recent disregard for United States Citizens. When does it stop? Who will stand up for us?

Good god just stay away at all cost. Especially if you’re a disabled person. They will just mock you. You don’t want to bother those women and if you do you’ll certainly be called out for it, even if there is a line of customers waiting. Of course, that is, if they actually respond to the buzzer (keep your finger on it until they open the door and yell at you. They love that). I’ve never seen a more lazy, miserable, harassing, vindictive, entitled (so they think), unprofessional group of federal employees in my life. They need to gut that office, fire them all and start again with people who actually want and deserve to hold a federal job. Filing a complaint with the ADA and USPS as we speak!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by USPS, particularly by Manager Martin. I lost a very important piece of priority insured mail and was assured by Martin that I would receive a letter about my case and that my ticket would be closed. However, it has been over a week, and I have yet to receive any response from either the office or the manager. Every time I call, I am told that Martin is available, but as soon as I mention my case, I am informed that he is not available. Eventually, my calls stopped being answered altogether. This piece of mail is incredibly important, and the lack of response and accountability from the USPS is unacceptable. If the staff cannot serve the public effectively, they should consider leaving the job. The manager’s handling of this case is appalling, and I believe he should be fired. Additionally, customer service is now refusing to reopen my ticket without a valid reason, which only adds to my frustration. I have all the proof of the assurances given to me, and I am seriously considering legal action for the loss of time and the poor service provided. This experience has been the worst example of customer service I have ever encountered.

The young lady at the service window was very nice and professional. It's a little weird going to this place because there isn't really any parking outside of a green zone in front of the entrance. So, you may have to take a little stroll to pick up your mail. Also, this isn't a full service facility, so you'll only go there to pick up mail that isn't able to be delivered to your address for whatever reason.
