Lawrence, was the postman who gave us our packages and mail. He thought I might of been a bit nutty for I was grabbing the frame of He's window. Solid Steel within the frame of the building. Solid. They just don't build like they used too. The reason why we have to go to the main post office for we do have boxes where I live BUT! Someone disrespected the postman and he wasn't coming back! Last time it happened if wasn't a resident . The homeless situation around Nu'uanu/Ku'akini area has gotten a bit much. That they will just comes on the property and harass the mailman delivery people, and we are living in senior citizens living apts. It has cleared up a little but they are still around. At a time the Only thing a postman or the milkman had to worry about was the dogs. They thought that it chained up but in the middle of the night they broke loose 🦮🐕‍🦺. I am a tenant here right behind the 7-eleven and I want to apologize to the man who never knows what is going to happen next 🤔! Rain, snow, hail, and even a hurricane it's their job to get the mail out. So Please people go the extra mile and appreciate them. Follow the rules of what you should Not do or say. Bring back the Spirit of Aloha and respect.

I had an outstanding experience at this post office, and it absolutely deserves a full 5 stars. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt organized, calm, and efficient. Supplies were fully stocked, signage was clear, and the self‑service kiosk worked perfectly for quick tasks. Parking was also surprisingly convenient, which made the whole visit even easier. Overall, this post office delivers excellent service with consistency, friendliness, and efficiency. It’s rare to find a location where the entire team is this helpful and customer‑focused. I’ll definitely continue using this branch for all my mailing and shipping needs. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a smooth, stress‑free experience.

Based on my experience and what I observe, USPS is horrible. They create hazards and dangerous road conditions by illegally double parking mail trucks and mail vehicles nearly every morning on Richards Street. They often block the entire left hand lane. Zero respect and regards for the law and community. Call 911 and report them!

Decent post office with good service. Conveniently located downtown, provides all the services needed. I’ve only had a few minor issues with deliveries but they were quickly fixed when I addressed them. Only real bad thing is that a lot of homeless folks set up residence here at night, and even a few 24/7 on the south side of the building. They leave a lot of trash and other things, and I’m fairly certain there are drug dealings out of one of the shanties. Wish the post office would do something about that.

Visited on 6/9 around 1 PM. Long lines with only two staff members and many empty shelves. Couldn't find what I needed, and the service from the male employee was not good.
