Normally there is a nice lady with short hair who helps me and my daughter. Today I arrived before 3pm the gate was down. I told the worker it was three yet. She said it was a few minutes early. Then she said she would not be able to get back in the system. I waited 3 minutes for her to stop what she was doing and open the computer. Then she said it's 3 you're late sorry. I reminded her that I had been waiting there for her to finish she got rude and told me i was not there I just walked up and it's after 3 . It's 305 while im typing this . She had a long curly wig

This post office is always closed. Why have it here wasted my tax dollars. I went there today April 25, 2024 around 11:30 AM. It was closed. I waited 15 minutes for somebody to show up but it was a no-show. I went there yesterday, April 24 around 10:30 AM. It was closed. Sign on the door says hours are 11 AM through 3 PM, Monday through Friday. Post Office website sigh says hours are 10 AM through 4 PM Monday through Friday. This is a waste of my tax dollars.

Close this post office already, because whether they will be open the hours that are stated is anybody’s guess. This is the only post office that I have ever been to, that is not open during their normal business hours. It’s nothing more frustrating than planning your day that includes a trip to this post office and it is closed, especially if you rely on mobility bus services for transportation. If you call customer service for their hours of operation they will tell you that they should be open. A kiosk would be better than this, there’s never a sign posted explaining the situation. Why do this happens only at this post office? I understand that some situations can’t be avoided, but this is a continuous problem. Update: They have definitely improved on being opened at the times that are posted, which makes things a lot better. The customer service has always been good, employees are pleasant and helpful. I just hope that they continue being opened during their business hours.

Continues to be unreliably, rarely open. A disservice to local community members who need this location. --- Update in case useful to others: Staff at this location say they are typically open 11 AM to 1:55 pm and then 3 pm to 4:30 pm, however if the last customer before the lunch break runs long, then they push back the 3 pm reopening so staff have their full hour off the clock. Staff seem to be doing their best short handed. Original review: As others mentioned, hours here are unpredictable. I've been served here when I caught them open but also arrived during posted hours to an ' out to lunch ' sign, and no indication of lunch hour/when office will reopen. Also, the sign in this post office has been changed from 10-4:30 to 11 to 4:30, so definitely wouldn't come before 11 AM. I hear they are short-staffed?

Website says they close at 1pm on Saturdays. And so does the signage inside yet it is NEVER open during that time. The light is on though. They might as well just close this crappy location down and just reroute us all to Pennsylvania Ave this is a joke. There are elderly ppl waiting out here.
