Never opened on time and closes early. These photos were taken at 12:50 pm on a Saturday and they are supposed to close at 1pm. They also rarely open on time like they are supposed to - literally the worst managed location.

Mixed feelings about this place. The counter employee who is always there when i go doesn't seem to know much..... Luckily another teller opened her station and was more efficient and knowledgeable. Overall, weird place. I use the "hold mail" feature a lot ... Last time I got my held mail about 3 weeks later. Not sure if them or delivery staff.

I have a real issue with the fact that, although Informed Delivery shows me mail pieces scheduled for delivery that day, those same mail pieces are not placed in my mailbox until days later. Then, a day or two after I place a USPS Online Complaint, I will see this note on my Informed Delivery Dashboard, “There is one or more mailpieces for which we do not currently have an image that is included in today's mail.” (See photo) I thought that Informed Delivery was to offer USPS customers a digital preview of their daily incoming mail and packages along with the convenience of reducing trips to the mailbox. Instead, I’m seeing an increased frequency of false Informed Delivery alerts while finding my mailbox empty. If some USPS mail carriers are delivering mail/packages according to their own schedule, what is the purpose of having USPS Informed Delivery?

Long line, but the woman who was working 8/4/25 just before closing was a jewel. I observed the attitudes of the people she had to serve, and all I can say is, bless your heart and patience. Many of the folks, who were frustrated, due to their own ignorances, could be seen, taking it out on the employee, who was so patient in explaining the steps to each of those people. Whew… I just know you all don’t get paid enough to put up with some of the crap that you do, but THANK YOU in-spite of it all. Because someone has to do it, and just know, you are appreciated and seen! ❤️

I ran into the McDowell Post Office and when I came out there was a guy on the other side of my car he started driving towards me and I stopped him and had him remove the boot on my car. He wouldn’t apologize. I was parked legally, showed him my stamps and receipt. Asked him why he booted my car. He said he saw it earlier. I said it’s December at the post office! Then saw the guy talking with a female post office employee. USPS, please fire WheelBlockers! 🛞
