Sergeant America a month agoYou won't find a more spiteful team of incompetence than when you treat yourself to a visit to a USPS. While this location, not having literal rot on the floor, is the best example of what USPS has to offer besides a world class education in wasted tax dollars and everyone's time, it still fails any kind of customer service standards you can think of. If there were a business embodiment of defunct self-checkout where the employees will literally chew YOU out for not doing their job correctly, this is it. UPS ships USPS. Go to them. They'll take care of you where these guys won't. And don't get me started on their other store not even being open during business hours. I ended up shipping my package via UPS. I don't know how much more I paid, if it was more expensive (USPS wouldn't tell me anything about shipping unless I decorated the box with a sharpie for them), but it was worth the price of having the good employees of UPS take care of me where USPS simply wouldn't.
Brittany Ayscue 2 months agoIt’s not that I had awful service since I didn’t need a significant amount of assistance, but the lady was a little snarky with me when I didn’t quite understand what she was telling me and then when I went to check out, the guy automatically selected that I had a “great” experience on the service review section on the check out screen so that was weird. I asked him if he selected that on other peoples behalf often and he said yes. Why even give customers the option to share if the workers just select for them? I didn’t even get a chance to comprehend what the screen was showing when he reached over to select it for me and I definitely wouldn’t have selected that myself. Very weird experience…
A. Walker 6 months agoTHEA! I hope I never meet another person like you again! -laughing to make myself feel better. I walk into the post office at 3:57. As I walk in the lady that’s helping other guest -THEA, has her back turned. The 2 ladies who are at the front of the line. One sends a book with a letter in it, the next lady gets stamps and ask for stamps with horses on it, Thea states she didn’t have those types of stamps. There are a couple people ahead of me. I’m still waiting and listening. Once Thea realizes that I’m the last in line it’s 4:05. Thea blurts out loud in front of every one “Ma’am you were not standing there! I explained that I was, walked in at 3:57!” The conversation went back and forth. Unfortunately I didn’t get my certified mail. -I stay only a couple seconds from the post office. I don’t mind coming back. We all get tired and it was the end of the day. I was blown away at the actions of Thea. Please get her some assistance so she’ll know how to treat people. I feel so bad for her! She’s tired!
Nicole L 7 months agoPretty long wait at 2:15 but what bothered me more was the lecture on return address location. I am writing this for my own future memory so I don't return to this location with sassy workers who give me a warning . . . Return address on the back is accepted even though USPS prefers upper left hand corner. It is customary with formal cards to put it on the back. So to be warned not to do it again and to be talked down to like a child was not appreciated. A simple "USPS has this preference" would have sufficed. Then the worker grabbed the review option on the card reader and gave herself the happiest face after her lecture. Not a fan.
