This USPS location is chronically understaffed with only one employee, freezing cold, painfully slow, and often closed despite posted hours. The combination of inefficiency and occasional micro-aggressions makes every visit something I actively dread.

After experiencing this situation repeatedly, I had to explain to the women who worked here that she needs to be present at the front desk to assist customers or respond when the doorbell rings when we ring it. Most of the time, I find myself waiting around for a considerable 15-20 minutes before she attends to anyone. Notably, I observed her being rude to numerous customers, so I chose to avoid conflicts and kept my interactions with her to a minimum. However, today's encounter was the final straw. When I expressed my concern, she declined to accept my mail and walked away, remaining in her office and refusing to come out. To document the incident, I took pictures as evidence. I'm unsure of the underlying reasons for her behavior, but it seems she is consistently in a bad mood, taking it out on people who simply wish to drop off their mail.

Not sure why the hell they’re sending my packages back to me saying incorrect weight. I ship via pirate ship.com and my card is connected. If any additional or shipping is necessary they charge my card or send me back my difference. Do your job and scan in packages and don’t worry about things that’s not your job.

Strange hours that aren’t accurate on Google. The office is closed 11-11:20am and 1:20-2:45pm so aim to get there in the morning, noon or late afternoon. They don’t always open on time and sometimes it takes awhile to come to the front when you ring the bell, so I wouldn’t come here if you’re in a rush as the pace of work is generally slow. But grateful that they’re in the downtown area! Kisha was nice and got the job done when I’ve used their services.

Actually, this is a great post office. Kisha is a really nice postal worker and customer service professional. The problem is that the management doesn’t properly staff the office, so she’s generally the only person working. We all have to take a lunch break, and she probably has administrative and other duties to take care of, too. This causes the sometimes strange hours. Congress has drained the finances of the USPS for years and the current postmaster general has accelerated the trend through cuts and consolidation. Please don’t complain about this post office or the worker who staffs it. They have no control over its problems. Complain instead about the government that owns it and the politicians who want to privatize everything.
