The Kern st. post office in downtown Fresno, CA is the best post office I've ever been to. Everyone is friendly and professional. It is also very close to home.

Visited this post office today and Amanda was super helpful and knowledgeable. This location was also the cleanest one I’ve been to. Highly recommend.

USPS worker Todd very unprofessional. Walked in and he’s telling a story to a coworker using profanity. Then I grab a free box and package my item. Cover it in poly bag like I always do and he refuses to take package. Then proceeds to argue about it. Horrible experience

I arrived at the downtown United States Post Office at 4:54pm. The sign on the window has the time for self service at 5:30 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. I arrive to the post office at 4:54 and the door is locked and no one is here just a waste of time. I go to google and it has the Full service time as 9:00am to 4:00pm. We I arrive to pick up my mail from my P.o. box. I should have been able to have access to the building to go inside and retrieve the content in my P.o. box. This is very disappointing, and a total waste of time.There needs to be some in the building or at the door until 5:pm and not lock the door early because they want to leave early. I have a job, and I don’t have to opportunity to get to the post offices every day, so when I drive across town knowing that the Post Office should be open until 5:00pm and it’s not. That means that someone wanted to leave early and me having access to the P.o. box doesn’t matter especially when I arrive in time where I should have still had access to my paid P.o. box. Lionel S.
