Honestly, this location does not deserve a high rating. I signed up for informed delivery and there are times where I do not even receive all of my mail. I am currently still missing mail that I was supposed to receive this week, and it has already been more than two days. I understand that informed delivery items may not always arrive the same day, but this has been a repeated issue. I have gone in before about missing letters and was told that no one knew where they were, which is not an acceptable answer. If mail is missing, there should be clear communication and accountability, along with steps being taken to resolve the issue. I would recommend that staff and management improve their organization, communication, and overall reliability when it comes to delivering mail.

Location shows that they open at 9 am Monday-Friday. We have been standing in line for 15 mins and some others have been standing longer before supposed opening time. Nobody has come up to unlock doors or even let us know if there’s going to be some sort of delay. We are just standing here waiting for someone to open up! So annoying to stand here waiting especially when we have other things to do! Do better USPS!

Close for lunch at 1:40. Does not say what time they will open. You guys need to hire more people.

It's a dirty place, although I admit to the company, but this place doesn't supervise the company because they make the person suffer so much late. There are 15 people in line. There is only one employee. This is nonsense and customer manipulation. We need the company to take a look. Except for this title. Because the company loses a lot of customers.

This place has more issues than it can solve, unfortunately. Many of them are systemic issues beyond the control of this office or its employees, but regardless we have a huge problem for the areas this office services. To begin, the office is tiny and severely understaffed. Not your every day, run of the mill understaffing, but SEVERE where at times there is only one employee for a line that is over 2 hours long. There are times when they cannot even open on time due to staffing issues. I suspect this is a budget issue, but again, regardless the resulting problem is massive for this area. Having limited staff and long lines begs the question of why the lines are so long. The answer is- this tiny office serves a huge area of Fresno, and unfortunately this area is also one of the most rapidly growing areas of the city. Many of these areas are currently (and have been for several years, without any help in sight) been targeted by mail thieves. If a mailbox is broken into, or perceived as tampered with, the mail carrier will not be able to deliver the mail. Your mail will then be held at the office until the mailbox is fixed. The maintenance team, which I think is contracted with USPS- does not have any ETAs given or timelines for fixing mailboxes. You will not be given any heads up that this is what happened, rather you'll track an item and it may say "being held at post office per customer request" or extremely confusingly "could not be delivered" or even more confusingly "delivered". You can then wait for the mailbox to be fixed (1-2 weeks usually) or go to the post office where you guessed it- one employee has a 2-3 hour line of people trying to figure out what the heck happened to their packages and mail. Mail thieves aside, there is also an ongoing problem where packages and mail are simply not delivered at times without any good reason. I have had messages saying "driveway obstructed" when my driveway is empty and other non-delivery reasons that I know are not true- nobody parks in my driveway and I never request for my mail to be held. This is very frustrating because then you have to try and investigate what happened to your mail/package. Was it just typical non-delivery that happens with this office? Was it stolen? Was it being held? It's an ongoing catastrophe. The resulting situation is a nightmare. You might decide to wait for the mailbox to be fixed before your mail comes, only for it to be immediately hit again. Now there is more mail piled up at the post office than can even fit in your mailbox when it is fixed again. Your only other option is to take time off work to wait 2-3 hours in line to hope your mail is still there and not stolen. Overall, the situation is really a disaster unfortunately and there doesn't seem to be any fix in sight. This has been ongoing for several years and has only worsened with time.
