Final collection times posted on the USPS website are NOT accurate as of 3/19/2026. I went to 3 different post offices in Berkeley/Oakland that day to try to drop off a letter before last collection, and found that the information posted online was incorrect for every. single. one. The two locations that I visited before this one (where I learned that the final collection times had already passed) had signs on the collection boxes stating that the last pickup in the area was here, at 8 PM. So, much to my dismay, I drove all the way across Oakland in hopes of sending my letter on its way that evening. Here, I found adjacent signs on the drop box noting three different "last collection" times - 6:00, 6:30, and 8:00 PM. It felt like a cruel joke. Get it together, USPS, please.

Went for a passport renewell and they helped me on the spot no appointment asked helped me with picture money order and aplication spent less then 20min and i was on my way thanks usps and helpfull staff 100%.

Review about fingerprinting here. Will recommend anyone in the Bay Area to go here!!! The person who took care of me was very nice and really helpful. He knows his job, they are doing the fingerprinting in a separate room, they have a small fan to help with sweaty fingers and the person helped me position my fingers on the machine. It worked perfectly! I went to this place after a very bad experience with the one in San Francisco where I was basically told that my fingerprints were not good enough. But guess what when the person in charge knows their job, it’s working!

I needed to get my fingerprints taken and the post office machines routinely fail to get good readings from my fingers. Fortunately, the man who assisted me at this location was incredibly helpful and made every effort to prepare my fingers for a good reading. A stressful experience turned into no big deal. Thank you!

Finger Printing availability for FBI check is super confusing. I went in at 9:30AM to ask and the clerk told me it's available from 10AM-3PM. I waited in the parking lot and came back at 9:57AM to ask another clerk where I can wait for it hoping I can get on a line early and was told that the person in charge is taking her lunch break. I waited for about 10min to see if the person was available and she came in to sorted things out quickly. Was done in about 15 min.
