I understand that dealing with the general public means some customers will be very difficult to deal with. However, the staff at this location treats EVERYONE, even perfectly normal people like a nuisance. It doesn't matter if you're friendly, polite, or even neutral with the staff, they will find some way to let you know they think you're the scum of the Earth for walking through that door. Especially the woman at the front desk. I avoid going to the front desk at all costs because while I need the postal service, I hate receiving service from someone who clearly hates their job and their customers. USPS is a huge company so I know they don't need to care if their Google rating is low or if staff is rude as long as they do their job, so just mentally prepare yourself to be talked down to and glared at if you must speak with anyone here.

My visit to the Post Office went better than expected. Even though there were a few people ahead of me, the line moved steadily. The clerk helped me tape my package properly and made sure everything was ready before sending it. Overall a very easy experience.

I needed to send a care package overseas to my brother who’s stationed abroad. The clerk carefully explained customs forms and double-checked everything. The package reached him on time, and nothing was damaged. The service was compassionate, the quality of care excellent, and the value of supporting families like mine is priceless.

The lines are always 10 deep with 1 out of 3 counters in use. This area desperately needs a bigger post office location that has double the counters, a bigger pre-paid drop off bin and pre-paid package scan-in option. The next closest USPS is ~10 mi away My package was pre-paid but too big for the drop off bin, so I dropped it off at the free window, per the clerk's instructions. It was never scanned in. My customer is crashing out because the package looks like it's still in the pre-shipment phase. 13 days after I dropped off the packages and both of them showing 'Pre-Shipment', one of them finally flips to delivered. It's crazy to me that I can drop off my USPS package at the UPS Store and get more reliable service.

This location lost my tax documents. I go back and inform the clerk as I am sending a new set of now late documents and instead of offering assistance he laughed in my face. I even replied wow I was shocked in front of the long line. If I had another option I would use FedEx but usps are the only ones that send P.O. Box deliveries. I am hoping my now resent package gets there it’s already delayed despite it being a Sacramento P.O. Box. It’s very concerning and frustrating that they can lose your sensitive mail with no accountability. I’ve filed a missing search claim and nothing. This branch has rude customer service and I now have to drive to the royal oaks location if my package doesn’t arrive for the second time. Very scary and disappointing.
