Such a cool piece of history erected under the FDR administration! And the inside is fantastic! Highly recommend the San Jose history walk tour while you’re there!

I go here just because the building is so lovely. Parking is usually pretty good too.

As soon as I walked in the door I had to stop and soak up the architecture. The ceilings are painted with artwork. They're faded from age, but if they were restored it would be strikingly impressive. It is impressive as it is, hard to describe, but anyone could appreciate the attention to detail in the fine artwork that went into its decor. The staff very helpful, courteous. The place had two people in it when I got there at about 9:00 a.m., which was very nice.

Customer service is non existent! The staff is rude and to top it off the mail carriers, which are my local postman, are so lazy and inept they can SOMEHOW claim to not be able to deliver mail on standard non holidays due to "inability to enter my location" a LARGE apartment complex! So this must mean that mail is continually delayed or not delivered due to their own failure to perform their most important duty? Biggest joke of a location i've seen in 3 states and I once lived in FL!

I don’t go to main post office. I go to the one in Irvington and employees there are nice.
