This location moved 6 years ago from 39th street, the people that worked in the other were absolutely pleasant. The best one Ms. LOVE (She was AMAZING) She retired so the whole "glue" positive energy and positivity was lost. Midtown Miami is one of the most up and coming locations in Miami with Middle -Upper class people, this location looks something out of a horror movie "Saw" style ... The front door has been not working ( it's a simple automatic door.) for the past 4 months, which is okay . I guess? The immediate door behind is side door and it's LOCKED ON PURPOSE that you can enter if you're walking by since a neighborhood place you need to walk around a whole circle to get in. In the age when unemployment is super high, people that take these jobs does NOT seriously should be not working at all.

Well, after reading, nothing but negative comments for this Post Office. I have one out of my own. I arrived at the post office at 1:09 PM on Saturday on the website end on Google. It states that this post office closes at 1:30 PM as I asked the employee. What time do they close? He tells me operations closes at 1 PM and the post office closes at 1:30 PM. I knew he was bullshitting me but at the end of the day it was either I got rowdy with him or I just let it go. I chose to walk away.. And what's up with the front door being broke for almost 2 years

I came here as soon as they opened and this is the status of the place. Every time I come here there’s garbage everywhere and the place in general looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in decades, dirt and dust everywhere. Our community deserves better than this.

Genuinely this is the worst usps I have ever been to in my life. This is maybe like the 5th time where I have gone to the post office during their opening hours and they have either just not shown up to work or have refused to provide service to us because they were “closing at 5” even though it was 4:15. Today we showed up at 9:30AM and the office was still closed even though they open at 8:30AM. Incredibly unprofessional, they are rude inside, and the actual place is so dirty. I genuinely feel so bad for everyone who lives in the area forced to go to drop off mail here because it is that bad.

I just went down 1 more star because on Saturday 4/13/24 it says they close at 1:30 and me and several other people got there at 1 and the place was already closed. There were at least 6 other people there with me trying to get help, we all had urgent mailings to send out. One mentioned is not the first time they close early without notice. I’m not sure why they don’t follow protocol or regulation. This is a very busy area. I came back on Monday 4/15/24, 1 hour before closing and there must’ve been about 20 people in line. A lady walked out and said “I waited 45 minutes!” So when she said that several people left the line including me. Just so you know, there’s a group on Facebook about this post office. Try join it so we can all do something. With the insane traffic in this area and no other post office close by, we’re screwed. (See pics of the long line) ————————— Original post 👇 The service quality has been improved however the place is small for such a busy area. The line is usually very long and it moves incredibly slow because they only have 2 people at the registers. They are under staffed for sure because sometimes they have to go to the back or get on calls which leaves only 1 person at the desk. They are also short on supplies. There are no labels this whole week, at the self-service counters. They don’t even have pens for you to fill out forms etc. There were so many people asking for pens when I last visited. There was one being passed around. My advice, go mid-day to avoid the rush-hour before closing. The parking is also small considering how busy the office is and that part of the lot was rented to food trucks. And BYOS. Bring your own supplies 😃
