Passport Appointments Canceled Without Notice I arrived for three scheduled passport appointments for my children—two toddlers and a four-week-old newborn. After waiting in line and finally reaching the service window, I was abruptly informed that all three appointments had been canceled. No advance notice of any kind was provided. What made the situation worse was the dismissive and rude attitude of the representative, Wanda. She showed no concern for the inconvenience or the fact that I had brought a newborn out specifically for this appointment. The same lack of care was shown toward other families who also arrived for canceled appointments. Wanda claimed that a “Maria Aquino” had canceled the appointments via email, which is simply untrue. To this day, I have never received any cancellation notice. Being told otherwise felt like an attempt to deflect responsibility rather than resolve the issue. This experience was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unnecessarily stressful—especially for families with young children. I’ll be reporting this to USPS in hopes that the system at this branch and the messaging (or messages) improve because this is certainly not the service that our tax dollars should be paying for.

Unfortunately, my mail carrier was feeling uncomfortable with my dogs so stopped delivering my mail. Therefore, I needed to go to this post office to pick it up. The staff was EXTREMELY RUDE and UNHELPFUL. Maria Aquino, the manager, treated me with the most disrespect and with no responsibility to look for or hand me my mail. After several trips back and forth with the mail carrier and the ladies at the post office, I finally received my mail but with no help from the staff at the post office. Horrible experience with them!

Useless. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that it had been canceled without any explanation. I think our new government should reconsider of existing USPS in present presentation, and provide proper reformation of this organization and improve customer service.

I recently experienced one of the most disappointing customer service interactions I’ve ever had at one of your locations. The employee at the counter refused to scan my shipping label simply because it was slightly curved around the edge of the package. When I asked if she could manually enter the barcode number, she declined and also refused to provide a confirmation receipt. When I requested my package back so that I could take it to another location, another staff member returned it to me — at which point the original employee began laughing and mocking me in front of others. I found this behavior to be completely unprofessional and disrespectful. While I can describe the individual as a heavy-set, black woman with tattoos, my concern is the unacceptable conduct displayed. This type of behavior reflects poorly on USPS and undermines the trust customers place in your service. I strongly urge USPS management to review the professionalism and customer service standards at this location to ensure that future customers are treated with courtesy and respect.
