The lady attending has no patience, poor customer service etiquette, no professionalism whatsoever, and super slow. Dislike the manner she was speaking towards a non English speaking person. Was hollering across the window as if they were deaf, and as I was translating she was huffing and just being disrespectful under her breath. Even threw the money through the slot. Honestly was disgusted by the treatment. Post office needs to be more careful with who they hire as a front desk to work with customers. Before you write an apology, change your staff first.

On April 2, 2026, I was issued the keys for my new PO Box at the Allapattah Post Office (1799 NW 28th St, Miami, FL 33142-9998). However, the keys provided do not open the box. A female employee (African American, wearing glasses) instructed me to return today, April 3, 2026, to resolve the issue. Upon arriving at the office at 5:00 PM today, this same employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. She flatly refused to help me fix the access issue with my PO Box and prevented me from retrieving my mail. Pending Mail and Packages: I am demanding immediate access to my mail and packages, as I have the following critical items currently held at this location: 1. DHL Package: Waybill #, confirmed delivered to this post office on April 2 at 2:21 PM. 2. USPS Tracking Item: Number. 3. Letters: Two (2) additional letters addressed to me at PO Box Requested Action: I request that my PO Box access be enabled immediately so I can retrieve my property. Furthermore, I request an investigation into the conduct of the aforementioned employee for unprofessional behavior and for obstructing the delivery of legal correspondence and confirmed packages.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely unacceptable experience at Allapattah Post Office I went to the Allapattah Post Office to pick up a letter with critical medical test results, and the experience was horrifying. The employee assisting customers was yelling, aggressive, and rude, acting as if helping anyone was a personal favor rather than her job. She treated every customer in line the same way, creating a hostile and humiliating environment. People were stressed and uncomfortable, and the employee showed no professionalism, empathy, or basic courtesy. To make matters worse, the letter with my medical results is lost, and the employee showed no urgency or concern to resolve it. This is not just poor service—this is outright mistreatment and negligence. Management at the Allapattah Post Office needs to take immediate action, including disciplinary measures if necessary, because no customer should be treated like this. “I was told that I would be contacted as soon as my correspondence containing my medical test results was found. Excellent service so far. They have a diverse staff which can communicate in many different languages. The have box rentals here. Parking can be difficult during peak times.

The staff at this location is the worst. I know postal workers are usually miserable everywhere you go, but these people are something else. I have a p.o.box that I PAY for, and every time I come get a package it’s a hassle! They always say my packages aren’t there, then I have to call USPS for them to open an investigation and then after this inconvenience.. my package magically appears. The staff is lazy, quite frankly they don’t even want to try, just USELESS.
