Worst Post Office I've used. My everyday carrier is delightful, but the staff consistently provide terrible service. I waited for six negative interactions before leaving a review, because I've never had such bad experiences at a post office and kept excusing the lack of service as an off day for employees. I now drive to my old post office off of MLK or the one in Beech Grove for everything I can and have much better experience.

If I could give zero, I would. Twice now I have shown up for a scheduled passport appointment and the lady didn’t show up for work and the other worker couldn’t apply for passports apparently. No one called or texted or emailed saying our appointment was cancelled. To show up to a scheduled appointment on time, then just to go home empty handed is ridiculous. Communication needs to be improved.

Im a customer spending $1000s per year shipping with usps. Ive had a handful of irreplaceable items broken and not fully compensated. My most recent visit at this location to drop off about a dozen packages, I was rudely spoken to and had my packages refused. I print my own labels to avoid the lines helping ups and myself. I approached the counter where a worker was scanning packages others had dropped off with their own labels. I said hello and went to sit down my first package and she responded "I dont know where you think you're gonna put that?!" I responded no problem, where's the best drop off location? I have my own labels. She said "well its clearly not right here, we dont have another area" so I took my packages and left. All the other usps locations I use have a big gaylord bin they direct already labeled packages to go.

It cleary states they have walk in passport times from 11:15a-12:15p every Monday. They are not taking any walk ins and the lady proceeded to tell me she was short staffed when all lanes were filled with an employee. She did give me numbers to other post offices and none of the numbers worked. I'll pass on this location in the future.
