Un-bias review. Okay, so the building itself isn’t dirty. It’s actually clean. It’s located next door to a bridge/very busy, drug infested abomination of a gas station (Keys). I’d imagine it is a nightmare to keep a building spotless with needles, homeless people and trash thrown everywhere constantly by customers at the gas station! All and all, the lobby is great. The carriers are decent but some are extremely careless with delivery. The clerks in the lobby are an absolute DREAM to work with. The lovely ladies try their absolute best to assist customers with there issues. A lot of Karen’s in the comments don’t realize the delivery problems are on the CARRIERS and not the people who work in the lobby. Overall, Bywater is extremely efficient and helpful.

Rampant incompetence is the best description I have for this station. They couldn’t care less about truly helping customers, particularly when valuable packages go missing. Their behavior is always suspect and curious, and any information given contradicts reality. Even when they confess to screwing up they still act like it’s not their fault or problem. Do yourself a favor and drive a little farther to Arabi.

Never have a bad experience when I come here!!! Which says a lot for anything in New Orleans, let alone the post office… Every employee here has always been pleasant, but today Bria was the employee who helped us, and she was amazing as they usually are at this location! Such a relief to know every time I have to come here it won’t drag my mood down!! :)))

How does an item go from "out for delivery" all day to "delivered" but "to an agent". So it wasn't delivered, no mail was delivered today. What agent, this is a normal house with a door and a mailbox just put it in the box or near the door. It ain't hard, delivering mail can't be terrible mentally hard they put the addresses in a numerical order. Every time I think surely they're out of ways to delivery wrong they find another way. Useless.

I always have problems with this post office. Several of my packages say out for delivery and it repeats daily then it’s reported as delivered to agent and I never receive said package. The other problem is it will say delivery failure like the address is unreachable which is untrue. Lastly, they had my package out for delivery and then randomly said it’s ready for pickup from the post office location and customer service says it’s ineligible for redelivery with no details as to why. Also, it is 2pm and this office is already closed for the day. They are completely unacceptable. This is at least my 5th time dealing with issues from this location.
