Sarah Bi 2 months agoWaited behind ONE SINGLE CUSTOMER for OVER HALF AN HOUR, who was there when I got there (the only person ahead of me) and STILL THERE WHEN I LEFT (other people behind me gave up and left too). The clerk had no awareness of the long line that had formed, and apparently thought it was fine to spend at least 35min with ONE CUSTOMER, who apparently did not have her stuff figured out and was hmm-ing and haw-ing at the counter, even started making phone calls. I asked after waiting HALF AN HOUR if they were almost done and the clerk said "oh no, this will take a long time", and didn't allow anyone to go ahead of the one customer, even though almost certainly all of the rest of us in line only needed a few minutes each. The clerk did not seem to know what she was doing, and much of the time was spent reading things on her computer screen and counting and recounting stacks of bills, for some reason, and the customer seemed like she was being indecisive, and the clerk was in NO RUSH going back and forth with her. How is it acceptable to spend that long with one customer, especially when you're the only clerk working during a busy hour (lunchtime)??? Have her step aside to decide exactly what she wants, and help other customers in the meantime! Ridiculous.
Laila Kassis 6 months agoExcruciatingly slow service. Came in and there was a line with NO ONE at the windows helping customers. 5min later someone came and the first person in line took 15-20min to service. Then a second person slowly came and turned on her station. At least 3 windows should be open on a weekday afternoon and the post office should be able to serve customers properly and in a reasonable timeframe. Just atrocious.
Janak Joshi 6 months agoAlways staffed by 1 person. Always inefficient. Always delayed. Always a pain to go here. I don't have a choice but to come here. Avoid this location if you can or you'll loose a min of 30 mins of your life dealing with unincentivized sloths in a deadend place. The fact humans still function like this in 2026 is unreal. This is literally the definition of "you'll be replaced with AI". If you want to experience a use case in how bad a service can be and how to replace humans and processes, please visit and be fascinated (or angry) that your tax dollars go to this nonsensical organization.
Linda Stone 10 months agoThis may be the very worst post office in Boston. The woman behind the counter, Francine, started a social conversation with the other person working right as I came up to the desk. There was nobody else in the post office at the time. She proceeded not to pay adequate attention to the customer right in front of her, instead, having a social conversation with the other worker in the post office. Then she had difficulties with her scale. Then she started an argument with me, which was absolutely unnecessary. Then luckily, the other person in the post office offered to help me. I am absolutely enraged that Francine is a government employee. She is not qualified to work in a post office. She is not capable of any level of customer service.
Andrew Meadows 10 months agoI had a very poor experience at this post office. The service I received from the employee I worked with was unhelpful and frustrating. To make matters worse, after the interaction, the employee filled out the customer satisfaction survey herself and marked it as “highly satisfied” without asking me. That is not acceptable, those surveys are meant to reflect the customer’s honest opinion, not to be manipulated by staff. This kind of behavior goes against USPS policy, misrepresents real feedback, and undermines trust in the service. My actual experience was far from satisfactory, and I hope management addresses both the service issues and the misuse of surveys.
