This location opens & closes when they feel like it. I’ve never had any issues with the staff. My only complaint is that I sent out invitations around the first week of February 2026 & a month later people still have not received their invitations in the mail. I’m not sure what happened to them but every time I mail things at this location they’re either being received extremely late or not at all. I will start walking further to the broad street location. Someone higher up needs to visit this location & get it in order. The attach photos shows proof that they don’t open on time. Date & time stamp is at the top of the photo!

My experience with the USPS was excellent. The office was empty and the attendant was super helpful. The advice I can share to improve everyone's experience is about the location. On Google Maps, the address is 1500 John F Kennedy Blvd c31, Philadelphia, PA 19102, but in reality, the office is located in the subway. The best entrance to find it quickly is at the City Hall subway entrance on the corner of John F and 15th St. (Go down the stairs, take the first left, and then the first right). I hope this helps.

A terrible post office, unfortunately. On November 27th, we came at 11 a.m., but the door was closed, and there was no notice that they were closed that day or that the staff member was temporarily unavailable. The only sign on the inside door said their system was down and they could only accept packages with prepaid shipping labels. We had exactly such a package, but it didn’t matter because the post office was closed. During a previous visit, a huge cockroach was crawling along the customer service counter inside this branch. The postal worker saw it but did nothing and continued assisting the customer. Disgusting. This branch is dirty both inside and outside.

Staff here is always friendly and efficient. I hardly ever need to wait in a line as there are typically 2 to 3 employees working the front counter.

I've got to say, I rarely feel motivated to write a positive review about the USPS, but here we are. Preston is such a ray of light! I've come in multiple times and he's always super kind and friendly and helpful. I really appreciate it as a frequent customer! But also, no matter who's on duty, I've never had a bad experience at this location. And the lines are always WAY shorter (and no mean hat lady like at the 1234 Market location, lol). Anyway! A+ to Preston and the team here.
