Stephanie Pagán 3 months agoI knew I shouldn’t have come here!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. Do you know how hard it’s to book and appointment on a Saturday? I had to book my appointment 4 weeks in advance for nothing! I arrived on time for my appointment at 9am, waited for a couple minutes all for them to say no passport agent is available today. What? Are you kidding me? So what’s the point of making an appointment so in advance, for what? I’m sure you know that there are appointments scheduled in your system, there were others like me also with appointments and waiting…. I left so upset. Guess what? Had to make an appointment in NJ and of course will have to wait 4 more weeks. This place is at the reviews said, trash, DO NOT GO HERE you will waste your time! Hopefully I’ll have a better passport experience at my next appointment.
Neha 6 months agoAvoid this USPS at all costs. The front desk lady was extremely rude if I could give it zero stars I would. There were no pens available to address my package and when I went to the front desk, the lady was insanely rude and disrespectful. I watched her be rude to all the people in front of me as well. I don’t understand how you could be so miserable at this job. Judging by all the other 1 star reviews, this seems to be a chronic problem with this location. The USPS on Girard is MUCH better and has actually kind and helpful staff.
aci25 2 months agoIt is deeply concerning that the management of the Postal Services Office located on Arch Street has allowed such conditions to persist. First, the facility is not fully accessible to individuals with disabilities. The entrance door, made of wood, is extremely heavy and difficult to operate. This presents a serious safety risk, particularly for elderly individuals, as it could lead to injuries to the hands or arms. Accessibility should be a fundamental priority in any government facility, and this issue warrants immediate attention from management. Additionally, the level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff is highly inadequate. During my visits—each of which I try to avoid whenever possible, I have observed employees interacting with customers in an unprofessional manner. There is little to no acknowledgment of customers, and staff often engage in personal conversations while individuals are waiting in line. The overall environment reflects a lack of organization, discipline, and customer service standards. Furthermore, the physical condition of the facility is unacceptable. The flooring is in a state of disrepair, with visible cracks and small holes in multiple areas. These hazards pose a significant risk, especially for individuals with mobility challenges or visual impairments, as they increase the likelihood of trips and falls. Given these ongoing concerns, including poor customer service, an unwelcoming atmosphere, and unsafe facility conditions, I have decided to discontinue using this Postal Services Office.
Christopher Llanes 3 months agoCrystal went above and beyond during my visit today! She helped me mail a gift to a friend and took the time to walk me through the most cost-efficient shipping options available. Her patience, knowledge, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful errand a total breeze. It’s rare to find someone so helpful and attentive - she’s a true asset to this post office. Thank you, Crystal!
Nyasia Gillespie 5 months agoNyema (hope I’m spelling it right) was so helpful during my visit. I came in for my passport photo and application and she explained everything to me in such a personable way. I am naturally anxious person so it was nice to have someone carefully explain everything which I imagine she repeats 20+ times a day so that can’t be easy. Expedited passport came in one week. Thanks again, Nyema!
