Horrible service. The drivers that work out of this location will lie about delivering packages or not being able to. Read all the other reviews and you’ll see it’s a repeat behavior. Leadership at this location is lacking. The one lady who works the front most of the time has a bit of an attitude, although she’s gotten to know me pretty well now and cut that out. The younger girls you’ll find working the front sometimes are great, probably the best part about it.

This has been the worst customer service. Somebody really need to look into this location. There’s always a line. You have to wait over 45 minutes just to get attended to. They always cut off the time at 4:30 and lock the door’s and tell you the systems down so they don’t have to help you. Another thing. Is. It always smells like weed in there. Like where’s the professionalism come on now !

Worst customer service ever, they’ll have you waiting at least 30 mins + for at least ONE employee to come out and actually help customers & even then she has an attitude when answering questions to people. You can hear other employees chatting & laughing in the back so clearly she’s not alone but a line going out the door doesn’t matter to them they will have you waiting.

I’m currently on hold with USPS Customer Service and have been for about 30 minutes. This location has unfortunately been my post office for about a year and a half. I have a Poshmark and eBay business so I utilize package pickup a lot because I don’t have a car. There has been an issue with EVERY single package I’ve tried to get picked up and every single time I’m told it won’t happen again and it does. You’re hurting my business because my customers packages are not arriving when they’re supposed and now with the holidays it’s only worse. Why can’t you just do your job and do it right???

This location which is the post office for my ZIP Code, is in a rather depressed neighborhood, but it has positive aspects. With the Dallas skyline in the distance, this location is always kept very clean inside, as you can see in my pictures. There is a large lobby with many post office boxes that are well lighted, because the entire front of the post office is floor-to-ceiling windows. The service is a bit hit-and-miss depending on the time of day (meaning the number of customers), as well as how many staff are working at the time. As is widely known, funding to all post offices was reduced dramatically during the last election, so it’s not the fault of the postal employees, that they are understaffed. I find that if you take just a couple of minutes to greet the employees and to have a little chitchat with them, you can make a connection, because they are so often not treated well by the impatient general public. They are genuinely happy to have you recognize them and compliment them for their service. This should be the case with any service industry you deal with, whose business is run like a never-ending conveyor belt , especially customer service people in call centers, whether in the US or outside of the country. People are people. There is plenty of parking in the huge parking lot (also featured in my photos) and from the parking lot you have a nice view of the 46-story Top ’O Texas tower and the Texas Star ferris wheel located in nearby Fair Park, home to the annual State Fair of Texas. My only real complaint is that unfortunately because of the depressed nature of the area, there is quite a bit of litter on parts of the grounds. It looks like they are trying to stay on top of this problem because it is not widespread, but mankind is not helping. The post office is named after formal civil rights leader Juanita Craft, who also served on the Dallas City Council during her lifetime. There is a lovely portrait of her inside the post office. From Wikipedia: Juanita Craft (born Juanita Jewel Shanks; February 9, 1902 – August 6, 1985) was an American activist and politician. Craft was an activist in the civil rights movement and also served as a member of the Dallas City Council in Texas.
