Cassandra should receive additional customer service training, as she was awful. I was told to stamp my package myself, instead of them helping me weight and putting exact postage needed on each one. Cassandra told me in a very rude manner that they were not going to help me because they needed to keep the line moving. However, I stood in line and waited for all the others in front of me to ship all of their packages with no issue. I understand that it is the season for shipping packages to friends and family but I was a customer just like everyone else and I fully understood what to expect when going to the post office. I went to another post office and received excellent customer service from the clerk with no attitude and they were happy to help. When I spoke to them about my issues, without naming names, they said "Oh, you must have been helped by Cassandra." It was apparent that her reputation is well known across Tucson's postal community and I was shocked that they knew without me having to say her name.

If I could give no stars I would. This lady refused to hear me out to send a box that I have sent back at least 20 times now in the last two months. Telling me I am wrong and needed to destroy the box. This box is a speaking box and protected through the medical field. Nothing about the box changes and can not be change through federal contracts. She was extremely disrespectful and far from helpful. At the same time she was yelling at another customer.

Your Local Post Office: Seems Always to get Bad Reviews I feel for postal workers! Too often, it seems like everybody has the same need for postal services at the same time. Going when the line is long and there are only two postal workers serving people behind a counter with five registers is always a trying experience. I try not to take it out on the employees, because it is not their fault that the rush came when it did. That said, the US Post Office I visited was devoid of people when I arrived. It depends on the time of day and the time of month you go to the post office, which determines the kind of experience you will have. Crowds = irritation = anger = bad reviews. I had my choice of two postal workers who were eager to help me. The clerk greeted me with, "How are you doing today?" He had a genuine smile on his face, and I could tell that he was eager to help. That lightened my mood, because I dread going to the post office. All I needed was a stamp, and when the transaction was made with a dollar bill and I got change back, I realized that I could no longer say, "You cannot buy anything with just a dollar." The clerk gave me a warm smile as I turned to exit the building. I was impressed with the peaceful atmosphere and the professional service that I received. The only thing that is needed to have a pleasant experience at a post office is to find out when they are usually the least busy. Call your local office and ask about when the location is not busy.

I go there at least once every two weeks and have met every person that works there. They're all kind and efficient. Even longer lines move at an acceptable pace. I also appreciate that they tell folks how to line up and when to proceed to ensure a more orderly experience. All in all, one of the better USPS sites I've been to!

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had here. The kiosk malfunctioned and wouldn’t let me enter an address. When I kindly asked for help, the employee dismissed me, told me in an extremely rude tone “it’ll prompt you,” and closed the door. It didn’t. I was left with a $22 label missing the address. Rude, unhelpful, and completely avoidable.
