It’s a decent place to handle mailing needs, though the security process can be a bit over the top at times. Once you get through, the service itself is organized and fairly quick. 📦 I came here to send a few certified letters and a medium flat-rate box—around $9.80 for the package and $4.35 for the certified mail. The counter was clean, and Randy at the desk was extremely courteous, guiding customers with patience and clarity. He double-checked my forms and made sure the receipts were correct, which I appreciated. However, the atmosphere feels a little tense because of the security screening, which slows things down unnecessarily. If you’re not in a rush, it’s fine, but those tight on time might find it inconvenient. Overall, a solid but mixed experience. ✉️

Security was a little ridiculous. I understand it's necessary but they act really weird. Randy is a great guy and made up for it with his awesome attitude and work ethic! I would advise everyone to go to an actual stand alone usps.

Metal detector. Post office was nearly empty at 3pm. Very polite and friendly service. I hope Republicans don’t destroy the post office.

It's a post office. I'm not expecting concierge service, just like I'm not expecting to be treated like the pope at Wendy's drive-thru. Going through security and dealing with hours, yes it's an issue. The first time I went, guards WERE very rude and crappy to me. But not second time. If you're decent to them it seems like they'll be same. And Randy at post office is good guy, I've had no problems. I feel safer that it's federal building and patrons can have that sense of confidence.

Terrible location. Since it's inside of the Federal Building, you have to first go thru airport-style security checkpoint, even if you're just dropping off a package. They close in the middle of the day around noonish, because they were closed at 1pm one day, but open at 12:30 another day. They open later in the day, but who knows if that time is consistent. Just 1 person working at a time and you have to ring the bell to get their attention. I've had 2 people there contradict their policy on getting a receipt for dropping off packages with prepaid postage. I don't know if issue is the cost of the paper to print the receipt or the extra labor required to scan a package and produce a receipt. Maybe they didn't want to make the 0 people waiting in line behind me wait 2 minutes while I was helped.
