USPS lost/misdelivered a package, and the service request process was extremely disappointing. I opened a service request on May 7 at 3:10 PM and specifically requested email updates for documentation. I never received a single email update, including no notice that the service request had been closed. A representative named Yessena called me on Saturday around 2 PM and said they did not have an answer yet and were not sure what happened to the package. She said she would speak with the carrier on Monday and call me back. Instead, they never called and I followed up, I was told the service request had already been closed. The notes only said they would contact the customer and provide a resolution, but no actual resolution was provided, and I was not contacted with the closure information. This wasted my time, delayed my customer, and left me with no choice but to file an insurance claim and refund the buyer. The entire service request process felt pointless because USPS closed the request without giving me a real answer, without following up as promised, and without sending the email updates I requested. I understand that packages can be lost, but the lack of communication and accountability afterward is unacceptable.

Sung was very patient and kind when helping me with my passport application and photo. Facility was small but tidy and well ventilated. Will come here again for future passport assistance!

Ms Kim needs to be fired immediately. Why does she still have a job? I arrived at 5 PM to do an international shipping. Her colleague told me to fill out international paperwork. I did so and I got back in line. At 5:20. She said “no international… we don’t do shipping 1/2 hour before closing!” OK, that’s not true. “Anyway, we closed at 5 PM!” No, you close at 5:30 PM. And I’ve been here since 5 PM. Then she would not tell me her name. She was also aggressive to the couple in front of me, who left very upset, and the man before them, yelling at him “You can’t get a passport photo!” He never asked for a photo. And “No stamps!” What post office doesn’t sell stamps? She does not want to do any part of the job that she is paid to do. Meanwhile, over at the Los Feliz post office, everyone is smiley, helpful. Myrtle in particular. That that’s how it’s done. This post office needs a complete restructure, starting with the removal of Ms Kim.

I had a package due to arrive while I was out of town, so I went online to set up a package intercept at my local post office. I already paid for shipping on my package, but the online intercept procedure demanded another $18. So I go to pick up my package, which they initially say isn't there, and that I was "too late" but after about 10 minutes, they find the package. And then they make me pay another $10 to intercept my package, even after showing them the receipt in my email. So at the end of it, I paid $7 for initial shipping, $18 for the online intercept, and another $10 at the post office. That's $35 for shipping a pair of gloves from another city in L.A. County, and they didn't even have to deliver it to my door. I picked it up myself! Ms Kim even followed me out to the parking lot to yell at me after I already paid everything and left with my package.
