Hello, I would like to leave a thank-you note to the Homeless Post Office in San Francisco. I am truly glad that there is at least one place like this for people without housing. It is a huge help and very important support, because it allows people to receive important letters and packages. I have seen some comments saying that packages sometimes disappear. From my personal experience, I can say that I have sent and received packages, and everything arrived safely. One of your staff members also explained to me in advance that it is better to use a full name (and even a second name, if you have one), because many people have the same first name, and this can cause confusion. At first, I thought the problem might be on Amazon’s side, because only my first name was listed there. Then I checked the app myself and added my full name and last name, and now it is much harder for any mistake to happen. So in many cases, the issue is not the staff, but how the recipient’s information is written. I successfully received my package, and I have also already received letters through your service. You helped me a lot, and I am truly grateful for that. I hope to continue receiving my mail through you in the future. I do not think it is fair to blame the employees for these situations — they have no reason to give someone the wrong package, and usually the reason is something else. I have been waiting for 18 days for 2 letters,,, don’t have a clue,,, been there 4 times no mail ! Can’t understand what is going on in there,,, but there is something very wrong,,, going to make a complaint with the post master general on Monday April 20,,,!!!! Don't go here. Awful neighborhood and doesn't even seem to be an actual post office. Dangerous neighborhood if you are not familiar with the streets. Be care and do your research! Stay safe.

They take forever to check if you have mail and come back with nothing saying you have no mail...when I had a few pieces of mail/packages that I knew for a fact got delivered but I never received them. I don't wanna say they steal people's mail, but they obviously keep what they want to themselves. Plus they close very early. I can be standing in line for 30 minutes and when it's finally my turn to pick up my mail, the worker says he's closed and shuts the window. I mean I understand that they're closed but come on man....currently looking for a different general delivery place, possibly one that doesn't close so early. Any suggestions? 🤨😏😑🙄🧐😤

They are no longer open on Saturdays because one employee has left and now the lady working is too afraid to be there alone so she no longer comes in on Saturdays. If you need another employee I would love to apply for the position. I am giving one star because I have important mail that I needed to get today and now can't get it until Monday.
