Disappointing…1 clerk at lunch time. 10 people waiting 20-30 min. Workers are nice and helpful. Corporatists politicians defunding USPS is the problem here… not the workers. FedEx around the corner has 4 clerks. This post office is just another casualty of the class warfare from the 5% who owns 93% of stocks.

(Edit: I added more stars because Carmen was more customer friendly when I came to this location recently, which helped considering they appear understaffed. Also, I have since received 2/3 documents mentioned below.) The service here for matters that are so important, like receiving important documents - feels very unprofessional - and I hope this review will encourage more efficient service in the future. I came into this post office location about one month ago to add my name to a PO Box and was helped by Carmen. Since then, I have 3+ mail packages from different senders that have not arrived to my PO Box. When I went in again to check if my name was added to the PO Box one month later, it was not added. I tell Carmen about what happened, she writes down my information on receipt paper again, and when I ask her how it will be confirmed that I am added to the PO Box, she responds “I will add it right now” without any further confirmation. It is very unsettling that my personal information was written on receipt paper by the same person who did not properly fulfill my name being added on the first time, and the way she handled her service both times I’ve interacted with her makes me feel uneasy with how this establishment handles sensitive and important matters.

Kindest post office in the US! I needed to send a package and wasn’t sure what’s the best way to do. The lady was kindly checked and gave me an advice, and the gentleman after I packed and pay was also kind. There’s only 2-3 people on line and service was very fast and efficient. Thank you!

I visited the Sutter post office today 2 October 2025 and I was provided with the best customer service from what appears on my receipt as Clerk number 4. I believe the person's name was Brian. He assisted with kindness and Professionalism in answering my questions and filling out a required Form I needed. It's a breath of fresh air when you get friendly customer support.

As someone who ships out products daily, I rely heavily on the post office. This branch always processes my bulk packages quickly, the clerks are friendly, and they even suggest the most cost-effective shipping options. The service is efficient, the quality of handling is reliable, and the value I get compared to private carriers is excellent.
