For starters some individuals should honestly keep their prissy, bigotry, and zealous “Opinions” to themselves. 1st. Everyone knows Postal workers are dedicated Govt. employees that connect us all to and from people and parcels. 2nd. Awareness of your surroundings? You are downtown at Civic Center (one of the largest transit terminals in the Bay Area), and complaining that you’re 14th in-line @ 4:00pm on a “FRIDAY” with 1 worker present. Screams ignorance, and lacking a key virtue Patience… Post St opens till 6pm + China Town are also open on Saturdays for convenience. I’m here weekly, random time and day, the office is perfectly fine, the surrounding (Fox plaza owned) building is aged. The staff takes care of all customers in the lobby even being the 20th in line. They’re customer service driven all the while being helpful and friendly.

Understaffed and not practical. I brought a letter unstamped because I wanted to buy a cute stamp to use instead of my forver stamps. The line was too long so I decided to just get stamps later, but I needed to send my letter. I forgot to stamp it and dropped in the mail chute. I asked folks in the line if I could jump the queue to just retrieve my letter from the pile so I can put a stamp on it, but the postal worker told me to go to the back of the line. And, of course, while I was waiting at the back of the line they took the box of mail. Wasted my time waiting and it was too late to get the letter back after they took it. I wish I had just not come here at all and just bought postage stamps from somewhere else. Never coming back.

Update: this location is vital to our community and I hope USPS can invest more funding in (1) staffing, (2) keeping the facility operationally clean enough. See update pictures below, graffiti. Entrance door on Fell is so jammed people will often walk away because it feels like the door is locked. USPS Needs to invest more money in staffing and cleaning this location. 4pm on a Friday, I am 14th in line. There is one USPS employee. The door to enter is so dirty (see pictures) that I have to find a random object to open as not to touch anything. This is a health concern. The walls & floor look like they were last cleaned 5 years. Our neighborhood NEEDS a post office, also one that is open on Saturday. But we also need a post office that is appropriately staffed. This is a HUGE inequity, and I hope USPS will hear all of these Google comments loud & clear.

I really like this place because the staff are always nice and courteous, every time that I have to be there happened to be good experience, and some times I thought to do in some way that they asked me if I may try in another way that gives me good gain for I saved a few dollars and they do that because they like to help the costumer and I can see they love their job.
