One of the clerks who works here is so unbelievably rude. I showed up a few minutes past opening and no one was there, so I rang the bell next to the sign that says “ring bell for service”. He came out and got very upset, saying “I shouldn’t have rang the bell that early”. I apologized but he continued to verbally berate me throughout the interaction, until I left. Like for 3 full minutes while he scanned my package, etc. Nightmare bc the location is so convenient.

Small, local post office; convenient. The lobby and postal windows are an odd configuration that clearly is a makeshift post office created from a prior Presidio building/office that was never intended to be a post office! What would be nice is if they put up one of those large viewing mirrors ~ like at the 7-Eleven stores ~ so that the postal staff can see "around the corner" if there are any customers. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and patient.

Just went to this USPS. To start 4 people were in line waiting and there was no clerk to be found. Finally someone yelled, is anyone here? And someone in the back popped up “oh you guys need help out there?”. He came out. She asked about printing labels, he said he couldn’t help and told her to go to FedEx to print. We were next and had a ‘mobile scan’ print label which says, “no printer, no problem. Scan this at any USPS store to send this package”... Apparently they are also not able to do that at this location. The clerk said “same answer as her, we can’t print labels here”. It’s not technically the same question and he was very dismissive. We ended up going to the Marina USPS and using that service was completely fine. Small USPS location with a Clueless clerk and poor service. Wouldn’t count on doing anything more than dropping off here.

I just tried to go drop off a box before the dude at this branch leaves for lunch - a posted official-hours lunch break from 1:30-2:00. Arrived at 1:20 on the dot and the man shut the door in my face, even after I pointed out it's not 1:30 yet and I specifically tried to arrive prior to his break. He shrugged his shoulders at me and shut the door. Extremely rude and appalling service. This instance alone has ended my relationship with the postal service and I will support any/all proposed reductions to the federal USPS budget.

The clerk is nice here, but SO incredibly slow. Like think of the sloth at the DMV in Zootopia. The line is always insane since the clerk is really inefficient. Also, this post office is always somehow closed for some break they're taking.
