US Post Office

Not a actual US Post office, wasted 40 minutes driving there. That it's a drop off location, no more and they can't give you a receipt of shipping you get at actual USPS office. Do not name yourself a US Post Office if you are not.

Despite what others may say, this location is an official post office. Look for the name "SENTER POST". They even process passport (for adults only) currently. There are other businesses also at this location (video, insurance, etc.). It is a very small office. On my visit there was only postal agent visible. They are open until 7pm some days, but the last outbound mail pickup is 5pm M-F. The office is ideal for the local community they service. The clerk I dealt with was very polite and efficient. Remember, this is a small office and you may have to wait for assistance.

Never have an issue with this location, even before they moved. Much rather go to them than the actual post office.

Is this place kinda tucked away? Yes. But it’s a neighborhood shop. It’s open later than my local USPS office! Kudos to the Asian lady who helped- she was so patient, didn’t rush me with my packaging, and was so kind and helpful. She let me pick my shipping price and helped advise ship what I needed. East side San Jose needs more places like this- home grown, perfectly suited for their neighborhood needs.

I visited this Post Office to mail some important documents and was immediately impressed by the staff's professionalism. They were quick to assist, explained different mailing services, and recommended the best option for my needs. I chose expedited shipping, and the package arrived in perfect condition, well within the estimated time frame.
