This post office has been completely ineffective and unprofessional in handling a very basic mail issue. I have called multiple times, visited in person, and spent hours trying to get a simple answer—and have received no resolution. The individual in charge Chimetria claimed she emailed me, yet I never received anything (including checking spam). When I attempted to follow up, after calling and calling repeatedly, she talked over me, would not allow me to ask straightforward questions, and became increasingly agitated rather than helpful. Instead of providing assistance, the interaction felt dismissive and confrontational. I have been trying to do is confirm the address they have on file so I can resolve why my mail suddenly stopped after over a year at the same location. This is a basic question that should have been easily answered, yet it was consistently avoided. I was also told multiple times that I would receive a call back, which never happened. There appears to be a complete lack of follow-through, communication, and accountability at this location. For a service as essential as mail delivery, this level of disorganization and disregard for customers is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others who rely on this location to manage anything time-sensitive or important. This lady chimetria proceeded argue with me when I was asking for the address they had on file...That way I could verify my address was in line with where I actually live .... after having multiple pieces of mail sent back to sender repeatedly, despite proper address listed! If you need anything in the mail and it has to go through sunny side post office Don't hold your breath... as you may NEVER receive it.

I came in at 12:45 last Saturday to get a package and was so upset with myself because I mistakenly thought they closed at 1:30 instead of their actual closing time of 12:30. I had missed the delivery on my package the day before because I was at work and the package was my late dog’s ashes… so I was beyond devastated and angry with myself for making a mistake and not getting the package before the close of the weekend. I sheepishly knocked on the glass and a postal employee came out and I just started crying and told her I messed up but I was hoping she could find the package because it was my dog’s remains. She didn’t make a big deal out of it, she took my slip and went to the back and found him. I cannot tell you how much this meant to me. I just went back to give her a tip because my mailman told me I could do that and she said it was against the rules and couldn’t accept it. Not only is she a good person but she has kindness and integrity too. Shoutout Patricia, you are an angel and I hope USPS does something to recognize the kindness and humanity you gave to just a regular ol person on a real bad day.

100% would recommend to a friend. The team seriously helped me out with a package that had trouble with the original delivery. It was a new driver on the route and still needed to get access to my building. The team banded together found the route, and gave me a call as soon as the package returned to the facility. They had it ready for me and were super friendly the whole time. Thank you, I really appreciate the hard work and dedication you all put in everyday. You guys are awesome!

I’ve had some great experiences at this post office! I have tried to get through on the phone, and sometimes get through and sometimes not. Please keep trying if you struggle. One problem I had was that the entire system got shut down while I was paying for a very expensive package. I ended up paying for it twice, once before the system went out at once after. I had to go through a very difficult process to finally get my money back. I had to go myself to the store to fill out an application, after filling out an application online. However, otherwise I’ve had pretty good experiences at the store, even when there are long lines the staff are very helpful. I was able to get my visa application to Cameroon down here, including the cashiers check which was not too expensive. Note that you have to bring cash for that!

Great customer service and friendly staff! Austin went out of his way to help me with my phone settings so I would receive a QR code and could ship the item.
