I strongly advise against using this USPS location for passport applications. I attended a scheduled passport appointment here where my application was reviewed, accepted, and fees were paid. Despite this, my passport application was never transmitted to the U.S. Department of State. The National Passport Information Center confirmed that no application was ever received, and USPS has been unable to locate it or provide a tracking number. This means that after USPS took custody of my passport application and original documents, it effectively disappeared. Customer service has been unhelpful, and I’ve been left to resolve an issue that should never happen with something as critical as a passport. Passport applications involve original identifying documents, time-sensitive travel needs, and federal processing. This location demonstrated a serious failure in handling that responsibility. If you value your time, documents, and peace of mind, do not apply for a passport at this location. Go the extra mile and apply directly at a passport agency or a more reliable facility instead. I wish I had.

I went to the USPS office on West Kedzie and had a terrible experience. I was assisted by H. Young, who showed a hostile attitude from the moment I approached the counter. She kept a serious, annoyed expression and responded in a rude tone each time I asked for help. I had several packages, and she refused to scan the others or provide any guidance. This was the worst customer service I have received at any USPS location. I will not return to this office.

I went monday afternoon. No line, both clerks were kind and helpful. Sekf seeve kiosk wasnt working, asked the clerk where shipping label was, grabbed a shipping label, filled it, slapped it on, handed it to the clerk, they ask what shipping are you paying for, easy. No fuss if you know exactly what youre doing, they'll point you to what you need.

The self-service kiosk has never given me a hard time! Fast and efficient. The employees are hit or miss, mostly positive experiences, occasionally you get someone who is burnt out from their job.

R. Young was the name of the lady that was incredibly rude. She already was seeming to have an annoyed tone at one customer and projected it upon others. She told me “you didn’t follow directions on how to write the name and address” when she didn’t even tell me the directions mind you, she told the lady behind me. I hear her and the lady sharing a giggle about my encounter with her. Completely unprofessional, and this is the post office I grew up going to.
