Janine Millares 4 weeks agoThe employee who assisted me was very rude and made what should have been a simple mailing experience unnecessarily stressful. I had four domestic packages and one international package to mail. There was only one employee at the counter, and while I understand that the line was long and another employee may have been on break, that should not affect the quality of customer service provided. I requested that each package be processed as a separate transaction because I wanted separate receipts. This was my preference, and I don’t believe it was an unreasonable request. Throughout the interaction, I felt rushed and pressured, almost like I was being inconvenienced for asking questions. When I was completing the customs form for my international package, I was told to “just read the labels” instead of receiving proper guidance. I left the weight section blank because I did not know the package weight yet. Rather than explaining what information was needed and how to complete the form, the employee seemed unwilling to assist me. I also had difficulty placing my package on the scale. The scale was not close to me, and as a shorter person, it was difficult to lift the box onto it. Instead of helping, the employee instructed me to do it myself. My first experience mailing five boxes at USPS was excellent, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. The employee with the short hair and side braids made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the entire transaction. Although I selected the happy-face rating on the screen, it was only because the employee was standing directly in front of me and I felt uncomfortable leaving honest feedback at that moment. In reality, I was very dissatisfied with the service I received. The experience was so unpleasant that I decided not to mail my international package at that location. Instead, I went to a different USPS branch, where I completed the shipment without any issues. I believe customers should be treated with patience, respect, and professionalism, especially when they are asking for assistance with services that can be confusing, such as international shipping.
Steve a month agoAbsolutely worst post office I’ve even had to regularly visit. Not a single employee there is halfway friendly. It’s like going to the DMV where everyone hates their job. No one is every willing by to take extra steps, I’ve had packages signed for by the letter carrier go missing over $2K worth of goods. 6 months later no response on missing package case filed. Now they won’t release my held mail that was due to be picked up today because “the mail carrier might have it, we are waiting for him to call back”. Don’t expect anyone to give a crap. I’d rather get a box at UPS than deal with these horrible people.
Ann C a month agoThey managed to lose an important letter from the IRS. I see a photo of the letter on USPS informed delivery, but it never made it to my mailbox. I went to the post office looking for answers and the woman behind the counter was incredibly rude. This isn’t the first time we have had mail disappear after seeing it on informed delivery. If this post office can’t deliver the mail, why even be open??
Chris Nobre 5 months agoWalked in at 6:25pm when the it claims to be open until 7pm and all counters were shuttered and there were two people angrily having an argument behind them. Had to leave without resolving what I came for.
Brian a month agoEvery time I go here, I know it's gonna be a bad experience. Guaranteed. I think that the workers here feel like you should understand their policies and how to do things around here. I avoid USPS at all costs, so I only come here one to three times a year, but, like I said, it's a guaranteed bad experience. Today I went to get in line to drop off a package because I'm not sure where their package drop-off area is, and I don't want to. It's a pretty important package. I asked the lady when I got to the front of the line if I can drop it off here, and she looked at me like I was slow (to put it nicely). Honestly, they could probably just put a sign somewhere that says "Drop off packages here" instead of assuming that everyone just knows where to drop off a package. I think it's behaviors like this that will guarantee that USPS continues to decline. I'm not a big fan of USPS, but hopefully they get their act together because I still have to use them one to three times a year.
