This post office is the best. They are on your team and do their very best to help you. Offer them grace and patience, and you will receive their great service in return. In spite of their incredibly difficult job, they listen carefully and want to help you. Work with them and be proud of your Westport post office.

This post office is a black hole of incompetence and dishonesty. The carriers are pathologically lazy, choosing to illegally hold mail rather than walking a few extra steps to a secure, accessible mailroom. Management doesn't just ignore the problem; they actively conspire to cover up the blatant lies regarding delivery dates. To call their service 'the bare minimum' is an insult to mediocrity. They once cut off service to an entire apartment complex for six months out of pure spite or laziness. If you value your sanity or your mail, do not move into a zip code cursed by this office’s jurisdiction.

Went with my youbgest daughter to mail a birthday present to her eldest sister. The clerk allowed us to go through all the motions of packing then notified us that we needed to use alternative packing. She did not want to allow to use tape to seal the box. Customer service should be important to the post office just like anywhere else.

Mail carriers out of this office cannot read. Half of my packages sent through this office are returned to sender for various reasons. This time it's because my mailbox sign reads as vacant, despite my name being written half an inch above said mailbox and has been for the past two years. Everyday I wonder whose mail I'll get today. Someone from another building? Maybe a neighbor that moved out six months ago? Certain not my own.

Contrary to others reviews here, I normally have a decent experience mailing out packages here. However I had a package I absolutely had to mail out today, which I had hurried leaving my work to make it to the post office before 5, and they were randomly closed!!! It was an item I had sold on Ebay and had to mail today. Now I’m not only not getting paid but I’m out $5 in shipping, for a package I could not ship. That is money I depend on. I’m a restaurant manager, I am not allowed to close my restaurant when we are short-staffed. But USPS thinks it’s okay to close the freaking post office for that reason, on a normal weekday? Absolutely ridiculous!
