Priority Mail package that was supposed to be delivered in three days has now been sitting at the USPS KCMO distribution facility for five days. They don’t even bother to answer the phone. Custom made display parts for an art show. Will have to remake and reship overnight to meet the deadline. I am out time and materials for two sets and I will have to pay for shipping twice.

If I could give 1 star I would... this is the WORST distribution center ever. USPS is honestly the worst organization ever created. I am not sure why companies still use USPS to be honest. My package has been sitting in this center for 5 full business days without moving at all. When I ordered 4 weeks ago I expect my package in the window that is provided... Not sure how to even get a hold of them either. It's beyond comprehension how AWFUL this experience is.

Ive had packages comin for years like most and they never have problems until they reach KC. They get stuck here for weeks. This time, Ive absolutely had it. Package came quick and as soon as it got to the Kansas City, KS distribution center it got stuck for over two weeks. I filed a missing mail report and nothing. Waited another week, called the sender and they filled a missing mail search request. Finally it got scanned a few days later. Hallelujah! Oh... wait... are you kidding me?!?! They sent it to the frikken Kansas Ckty, MO distribution center?!?! That's the wrong way!!! Aaaaaaand now it's been stuck again for another week in Missouri. Its pathetic. Truly pathetic. I cringe every time a sender insists on using USPS, which is pretty much everyone these days.

There is seriously something wrong with this distribution center. Well over 50% of my packages are delayed coming out of here - often because they are sent off to another DC only to have the package returned back because our mail comes from this one. If it's not sent to another DC and then returned, it sits for days with no scans and no movement at all. What needs to be done to fix this problem? And no, I don't believe it's because of the holidays. This has been ongoing for months. And past holidays were never this bad.

85% of my trackable outgoing or incomming packages or letters get stuck in a loop at the KC distro center. Or they get missent to a wrong city or location. One recient package hit 20 different locations before I filed a missing package request to USPS. Unfortunately this facility can not be bypassed in the process.
