I had a SCHEDULED appt for a passport. The lady with the short hair closet to the passport line African American lady kind of a bob cut hair today around 12:30 said that she called everyone to let us know about their system being down. Straight up LIE. If she would’ve called, we would’ve never came. She never called to cancel with us. If that was the case my son would’ve never taken off work to come get his passport. Don’t ever come here to get your passport unless you call ahead of time and hopefully they answer to confirm that they are doing them.

Applied for my passport at this location. Printed out all my forms at home and came in ready. Showed up late, but Louis took a chance and helped me out. Got my photo taken and all my papers in order. Then BAM the chip on my card didn't work, he asked I just come back the next day at a certain time and pay. All worked out. It was nice having the ladies next to him cracking little jokes and making the atmosphere feel less tense. I know people DREAD coming to the post office, but this location ain't that bad if you come in with the right attitude.

Drivers are lazy and refuse to deliver heavy packages to the doors of disabled residents, but instead leave them 1/3 a mile away where they have to hire someone or drag them home. I have never had this problem in 65 years. My great uncle who was a postmaster is turning in his grave.

My daughter (a minor) and I had a very upsetting experience here today around 5 PM with Supervisor Louis. We went in to buy stamps, but we were unsure if they were the right ones. The cashier saw we were confused and didn’t mention that stamps are nonrefundable. When we went back 20 minutes later to ask politely about an exchange, Louis was extremely rude to my daughter and dismissed her while she was explaining. When I went inside, he was also rude to me and told me to leave. Two women nearby, who weren’t even part of the situation, got involved, started recording us after seeing I was recording for protection, and one of them became aggressive toward my daughter. She ended up crying after the experience. The way Louis handled this was unprofessional and disrespectful. After checking online, I saw that several other customers have also reported rude treatment from him at this same location. Clearly, this needs to be addressed by USPS management.

Today (January 15, 2026) my scheduled appointment was for 12:30 to apply for a passport. 2 other people, who had appointments at 11:30 a.m finally left the post office after 1/2 hour because no one was available to take their passport application. A young man had his appointment at 12:15, no one was available. 2 other families were waiting. Their appointments were after mine. Thank God, "Louis", a postal worker, came to our aid. He stepped into the position and, although it was an hour after my appointed time, he processed my/our applications. Thank you so much Louis, God bless you, we appreciate you and your willingness to help.
