Came to get my son's passport. Line was almost to the door and still didn't have time to fill out the app before we were up. Amazing!

This place is truly unbelievable. They will just decide they don't feel like delivering your package and demand that you pick it up. Their hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, aka when most people are working, and package pickup is only until 4:30, but even during those hours you're lucky if anyone comes to the window to help you. I waited almost two hours and then was told they couldn't find my package and would have to come back. Another time I waited at the Dutch door to pick up a package only to find out no one was there so I wasted even more time and then had to get in a long line at the front desk. If you can avoid living in this post office's service area, please do. I didn't know it could be this bad.

I can confirm that this facility has elevated the shuffling of packages to something approaching a spiritual practice — though not a particularly enlightened one. According to the tracking information, one of my deliveries spent two days in a kind of existential loop, ferried back and forth between this hub and several of its philosophical cousins, arriving nowhere in particular and seemingly unbothered by the fact. One imagines the package itself growing wistful, pressed against cardboard, watching the same loading dock appear for the third time like a recurring dream it never asked to have. Why? Nobody seems to know. The universe has its mysteries, and apparently so does this USPS regional distribution network.

The employees are liars. They say they stop serving customers at 4:30 but the business says they are closed at 5. So you pay your taxes and they don’t even stay open for the stated time period. Some retraining needs to be done. Also, if you didn’t know, they stop helping people at 4:30 probably even 4. Ultimately I get it. They don’t get OT so if things don’t move they just shove it somewhere and maybe it gets delivered, maybe it’s just forgotten.

I cannot express just how frustrated I’ve been with the “no service” at this location. I don’t know what happened within the last year but obviously they’re understaffed. I’ve had my PO Box here since 1981 & have usually not had any problems. But now…an hour to two hours is the “normal” wait time to pick up packages that are too large for my mailbox! NOT OKAY!! I have physical limitations & it’s simply unbearable to stand in line that long. The man who worked the pickup window is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. He simply should never be in a position to deal with the public. His lack of “customer service” is despicable. One more than one occasion he chose to argue with me and anyone else in the unending line about whether or not he was overworked because we complained about the excessive wait time to pick up our packages. He went so far as to bring a large basket of mail out into the entrance area to show us that he had to “sort through all of this” to find someone’s requested mail! (????) How is that our problem??? Who has time to wait in line for over an hour every time we have to pick up a package?? I know I don’t. It’s simply too much!! I took pictures (with permission from the other patrons) (during the Covid social distancing) of the line on one day that I had waited an hour & forty five minutes as the seventh person in the line & it hadn’t moved!!
