This place is such a mixed bag. Sometimes its fine and goes fast, other times the staff is just so arguementative it feels like im walking on eggshells lest i say the wrong thing or ask a "stupid" question, lest it sparks an arguement or a lecture. Today felt especially dumb, and while its not a massive deal on the cosmic scale I feel like its a great example of the issues i have here sometimes. I went in to buy stamps (international+look through the forever stamps in stock) hand stamp a nonmachinable postcard. Simple, right? Should have been just in and out! Heres the stamps, pick some out, stamp the card and go. Problems: 1. Clerk couldnt find the international stamps, spent several minutes looking before asking a coworker. Ended up only having 2 in stock. Not her fault, stock issues I guess, can let that go. 2. Clerk wasn't listening to me about the forever stamps, kept putting back the display ones i was looking at and trying to move on without asking me which ones i wanted. Annoying, but eventually got her to give me some. 3. The big problem, the postcard. Its one of those nonmachinable novelty postcards, over weight for a postcard stamp but around 1 ounce. I was pretty sure it was more than enough, but i just double checked "is 2 one ounce forever stamps enough?", and she spent like 5 minutes struggling with the computer trying to answer. Eventually she gave up and just told me that yeah it should be fine. Then, i made the mistake of just saying "and please hand stamp cancel it", just cause I didnt want the ugly sharpied stamps I sometimes see at come through at work (i deal with a LOT of mail). Any normal person probably would have just said "Yep, already on it" or something and stamped it, maybe rolled their eyes if it was obvious but still moved on and completed the exchange. Instead she decided she had to stop what she was doing and hold up the line lecturing me. She started talking to me like i was an idiot. "of COURSE i have to hand cancel, its non machinable!" and i made another mistake of trying to defend myself by saying "i know! i just sometimes see them come through with them sharpied at work, I just dont want that!". She started arguing with me, saying oh we dont do that here, i have never seen anyone sharpie a letter, we ALWAYS stamp it, I dont know about the places up the street but we dont do that here, we NEVER do that here. I kept saying i know, i know, ive just seen it at work, i know, im not saying yall do, just please stamp it its fine! I regretted even mentioning it, I just wanted her to stamp it and move on so the line could keep moving. But instead: "so what youre saying is. other places. they take out a sharpie, like THIS, and just-", she then proceeded to draw a big ugly sharpie line over my stamps. The exact thing i just repeatedly said i didn't want. I said. Yes. That is what i just asked you NOT TO DO. Why did you do that? I just wanted it to look nice for a cute lil postcard. Then she had the gall to ask if i wanted to *buy two more stamps* to replace the ones she just messed up. Not only did they not have the stamps i used in stock (i picked out some i thought the friend would like from my collection!), you messed up my mail and now you want *me* to pay extra for it? I don't know what is wrong with that lady, but it turned what should have been the easiest quick little exchange ever (buying some stamps+hand canceling a postcard) into a pain. I know its just a single postcard that got messed up, but i think its a good example of how even the easiest exchanges ever turn into ordeals sometimes here.

Great customer service! Eddie was especially helpful—friendly, respectful, and patient. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure everything was handled quickly and correctly. I felt valued as a customer and had a smooth, stress-free experience. I would definitely recommend them and will be coming back again.

This is one of the worst post office locations I’ve ever used. The staff is 50/50 in terms of politeness, with one girl being particularly rude and having EXTREME difficulties understanding basic instructions/requests. The competence is also questionable, no one here outside of one clerk knows what they’re doing or talking about. It seems almost impossible to get a straight and accurate answer from anyone. Picking up packages here is such a hassle, no one is ever behind the “pick up here” door and you’ll be waiting a minimum of 45 minutes to get your packages. I rented a PO Box here and completely wasted my money and time. Firstly, the clerk filling out my paperwork didn’t even inform me that I should’ve been using a different post office location based on my address, even after getting my license info (another clerk ended up informing of this). Secondly I did and paid for a change of address on their website. A few months passes and I’m still not receiving mail friends/family have sent, alongside the usual mail I was previously receiving at my old address. The clerk helping me tells me that the supervisor that was supposed to approve this change of address in-house just didn’t. So all of that mail was still being delivered to my old address aka now lost. The staff here needs serious retraining. The incompetence is baffling, even for a government entity. I only give two stars because of the one female clerk who actually seems like she knows what they’re doing. I’d skip this place altogether.

As someone who has to come in once a month I look forward to seeing staff and having a good conversation with the them . I always feel welcomed regardless of them knowing I’m coming in with 30+ envelope that have to be certified mail . I know annoying 😭😩 and I’m sorry but they are all always willing to help and assist me with no hesitation ! It’s crazy to get on here and see the bad reviews ! They are always willing to help anyone from what I’ve seen . Always polite funny interaction and always answer any questions . Anyways they all need a raise 🫶

I had a package with an incorrect street number and no matter who i spoke to, Shipper, UPS, etc., I couldn't get any help! That was until I went in and spoke to BETTY! I explained my situation, and at first was informed it may be too late. But she continued to hear me out, unlike anyone else, and realized I still had a chance to get my package. She went out of her way to look for it and after sometime FOUND IT! I had been waiting over a month for this package, and did not want to wait another month if it got RTS. For that reason, I'm very glad I ran into BETTY! Great customer service!
