Our mail carrier, Darlene hasn’t delivered our mail in over a year because one time my mom kindly asked her if she would close the lid so our mail wouldn’t get wet. She has been placed on unpaid leave several times, during which she prays on the sympathies of the residents and asks for financial assistance. She disparages her boss and the US postal service, while taking money and gifts from people who don’t know her true character.

I was denied service by a unhinged postal supervisor at the TW House branch for suggesting they place a sign on their entry door stating they could not accept cash. Gina after refusing to take my Priority Mail Envelope stated she was not going to help me bc I suggested doing this, she is about 4'10 280lbs and lacks the professional skills needed to deal with the public. Clearly a entitled and privileged government employee who claimed to be a supervisor. When another supervisor came to the front she got called to the back where she became combative with that supervisor resulting in nobody being taken care of as you can see in the pics. I doubt seriously Gina can find employment elsewhere because of her anger management issues and her entitled attitude. So she works as a government employee. I was surprised to learn she was known by the Oak Forest branch supervisor who showed and encouraged me to report her to the 800 number. Definitely a loose cannon that probably hates anyone that doesn't suit her predetermined and biased opinions of the public. The stereotypical example of the going postal phrase. A disgraceful example of entitlement and someone who thinks the world owes them bc they are inadequatly trained at their job.

Went In to buy a couple books of stamps. This location does not have a self serve kiosk so I had to wait in the line to see an agent. Gina was very friendly and provided great service

I have to give them a low score when it comes to answering the mail pickup window. They will let you stand there for the longest, and nobody comes to the window and say anything, you hear them talking? You hear them moving around. They will let you stand there and never come acknowledge someone will be with you or help you. You have to keep ringing the bell like you don't know what you're bothering them. Most of the time I get too frustrated and leave after 10 or 15 minutes.

The staff at this location is always friendly and respectful. Sending mail and receiving packages is quick and efficient. However, picking up items takes much longer — I waited over 40 minutes despite checking in and ringing the bell. I understand it may be due to limited staffing, but the pickup process could definitely be improved.
