I walked in at 230 and tried to send packages to my wife who is currently deployed. Was greeted by an older woman who was off-put by my presence. I asked if I was able to send these packages today and she responded back with “did you fill out the customs forms?” I told her no, and before I could ask about the customs forms she told me she did not have the time to process my packages and that she was closing soon (in 30 minutes). Also, explaining that it would take too much time to help me because she had to close down her computer. She did help in telling me how to get to a different USPS off base and which customs forms to use and still had an attitude while doing so. Man must be rough working from 11am to 3pm. Terrible customer service. Would give no stars.

I haven't been to the Oceana post office since 2012, but I still remember the black woman who worked there at that time. She was the most incompetent and rudest postal worker I've ever come across. According to the USPS website, that location was supposed to be open for a few hours on December 24, 2012. I was waiting for a package, and the tracking number indicated it was at the Oceana post office. Since I lived on base, I walked over there, expecting it to be open. But it was closed. After checking around the back of the building, I saw a car parked in the employee spot. I went back to the front and knocked on the door repeatedly until the black lady opened it and told me they were closed. I told her I had a package waiting. Instead of looking for it, she just stood there, rolling her eyes, as if she thought I would just walk away. I stood firm and told her I wouldn't leave without my package. After what felt like forever, she finally went to get it. I was shocked by how lazy, rude, and incompetent she was. She showed up to get paid but kept the post office closed because she didn't want to do any actual work.

Pretty fast service and kind lady. I was mailing in my passport renewal, and I had forgot to date my check which I already turned in earlier in the day. I came back around 3 hours later after realizing my mistake, the lady helped me locate and open my envelope so I could date my check and helped me tape it back up without any fuss.

The lady that I talked to this morning was rude and she makes me feel like she doesn’t want to do her Job, I was the first costumer this morning and I have 7 packages for my husband, this is important to me and I was so excited to send those boxes, when she saw me she seems so irritated and disappointed while working. I mean, she’s an old lady, she should know the word, RESPECT!

We did not receive mail delivery yesterday, the 8th of May, 2015. I know this because I had mail out to be picked up. I know this is a courtesy, so if we did not have any mail I would understand why it was not picked up. However, we subscribe to Netflix and were informed by Netflix to expect delivery of 2 DVDs on the 7th of May. We now know that since the mail comes from Richmond, we do not get the Netflix deliveries until the day after the Netflix posted date. Moving the distribution center to Richmond was NOT a wise move! We are now 2 days late in receiving our DVDs. Our regular mail person is great, always on time, always delivers. I trust this is not going to be a regular occurrence.
