US Postal Service - NOT A POST OFFICE

It’s annoying when the post office says they “attempted delivery” but nobody ever showed up. You were home the whole time. Then the tracking updates with a lie you know isn’t true. It just leaves you stuck waiting for a package that was never even attempted to be delivered.

Terrible service. Went to get my mailbox keys, the employee said she would reach out and tell me once my keys were in. That was 2 weeks ago. been calling the facility for over a week with no answer no response. Still don’t have my mailbox keys.

Gave me the wrong mailbox keys. Then didnt answer the phone. Called another post office and was told I'd be called back in 2 to 3 days.

Completely unprofessional place. They neglected to help all three families that were in the lobby. I’ve never seen such lack in service before in my life.

This location off Centerville is the worst service I have ever received from USPS. Rang the bell, then a lady came in after me who apparently already rang the bell, unbeknownst to me. A man named "Antoine" came out and said "Jesus Christ it says ring once" I kindly asked him to refrain from his inappropriate language and tone, he replied "I can say whatever I want" This is who is employed behind the scenes at a Federal Mail Facility? I asked for his name and was very uncomfortable providing my information for my key as he was extremely rude, short, disrespectful, and indifferent. Customer Service clearly is not the expectation here. Unlike the Kempsville Post Office, this back office/sorting facility is unprofessional. I don't understand or know how or why nobody has been coached or counciled on how to speak with respect. This man doesn't know me, yet he did not apologize when I was offended by his tone and language. However, if I were to return with an equally disrespectful comment I'm sure he wouldn't accept that. Thank God my daughter stayed in the car. Is this how society functions now? Straight up disrespect for no reason? USPS you need to do better and expect better from anyone you employ. If they are complacent, disrespectful, or unhappy...hire more people, or at least people who care. It makes me uncomfortable trusting mail to people like that. As a person in the service industry, I understand challenging customers but to be rude for no reason? I'm sure they're inundated in the back, but why project their frustrations on the customers? This facility needs to clean house. Reframe expectations and give an ethics and customer service workshop. I did call headquarters to file a formal complaint. Based on the reviews I highly doubt it will affect change, which is unfortunate. Antoine, be better man. Don't disrespect people. It's not right, at the end of the day, it's not. I don't think you get paid to berate people and be rude. I don't want him to lose his job, he just needs to be accountable. Everyone at the Centerville Virginia Beach Postal Center (not a post office, yes we get it) needs to be accountable. Be better. Do better.
