Horrible experience. This woman that works at the counter is incredibly rude and has a smart mouth. I usually go to FedEx but decided to use USPS on this occasion. I mixed up the TO: and FROM: location (top vs. bottom) on my boxes because l never hand write it, since FedEx puts the label on for you. As a mid-30s US citizen, I obviously know that FROM goes in the top left corner and TO goes at the bottom. I also usually mail envelopes and was not aware this same standard applied to packages…. Anyways, when I was flabbergasted by mistake, Ms. Rude counter associate decides to blurt out “Back in the Day they taught us that in grade school” — to which I replied “I didn’t go to school where you went, and also, nobody asked you”. Instead of being helpful you decide to blurt out negative insulting unnecessary comments trying to be funny, with your bad lopsided weave. I will be filing a formal complaint with USPS and I hope she is terminated. Don’t be at the front counter talking mess, super unprofessional.

I know a lot of us have lost hope in people and the world, but this place will reassure you that there’s absolutely no hope for humanity. Imagine driving all the way across town with a 5 month old for a passport appointment, only to be met with “the lady left for the day”. Not so much as an apology or an explanation. People will literally treat each other like trash these days for no reason. After waiting to speak to a supervisor, he wouldn’t even look us in the eye to offer an apology. Wasted half a day from work for this? And then they tell us well you should have gotten a message it was cancelled. Not one phone call or email or message from them. Surely you can’t be this horrible and then on top of that blame the customer. The supervisor told us to drive downtown with the baby to do a walk in instead. We had work to get to. Yes we have all the time with a baby to be running around town. I mean you cannot get lower than this. It seems the high the workers get there is to treat everyone like scum so it makes themselves feel better going home at the end of the day. I guess we learned the hard way again that people will go out of their way just to spit in your face.

A spacious post office with friendly staff, but it’s in serious need of a makeover. The building isn’t maintained to the standard you’d expect from a government facility. On the plus side, they do offer passport services, which is a nice convenience.

This post office has some outstanding letter carriers. Our regular carrier is professional, dependable, courteous, and always on time. He does his job the way public service is supposed to be done. Unfortunately, the supervisor at this location does the exact opposite. My 70-year-old mother suffered a serious fall and broke her hip. After surgery and ongoing mobility complications, her doctor specifically stated she should not be walking down a busy neighborhood street every day just to retrieve her mail. We followed the USPS hardship process exactly as instructed, completed the paperwork properly, and included documentation directly from her physician. What should have been a simple, compassionate accommodation turned into an unnecessary power trip. The supervisor immediately began looking for reasons to deny or discourage the request instead of trying to help an elderly woman with legitimate medical limitations. She repeatedly insisted that because my sister and I help care for our mother, we should just retrieve the mail ourselves daily, despite the fact that neither of us lives there. Apparently common sense, basic compassion, and professionalism were all missing from this conversation. The entire interaction came across as cold, dismissive, arrogant, and completely lacking empathy. Instead of acting like someone serving the public, she acted like someone guarding a prison, making every moment as miserable as she can and enjoying every second of denying help to people who genuinely need it. Because we had absolutely no confidence this request would be handled fairly, I immediately contacted Our Congressman John Rutherford’s office, which is now assisting us directly. What’s truly disturbing is learning afterward that other people have allegedly experienced similar resistance regarding hardship requests from this same supervisor. If true, that raises serious concerns about how elderly and disabled residents are being treated at this location. A hardship accommodation for a medically limited 70-year-old woman should not require political intervention just to be taken seriously. It is the Law! USPS employees are public servants. Some at this location clearly understand that responsibility. Others clearly do not. Ma’am your days are numbered working for the United States post office, you are awful awful human being.

Ms Kia(may not have spelled correctly, sorry) assisted me today and was very helpful with my return package. She kindly informed me about the priority package I brought not being covered by the seller, who paid for ground shipping returns. Ms Kia gave me other options including envelopes to slide the box in. Much thanks
