Long very irritated review here. Why can’t we give 0 stars? Supervisors literally lie and are worthless. Just confirmed with lady delivering mail today. Package was supposedly delivered 5/26, didn’t get it. Nobody picks up the phone here. 5/28 I drove down and spent probably 1hr of my time. I was told by supervisor Ryan that he would have that days currier check all the mailboxes to see if it was placed in the wrong box and call me by 1pm to update me. Never got a call. Drove back down again this morning 5/29. Ryan’s off work today and spoke with supervisor Clinton after waiting 45 minutes. My information, address, and tracking number were still sitting on the counter from yesterday clearly visible from the glass where I was standing so clearly nobody came back to it (thanks for leaving my info out for anyone to see also). So supervisor Clinton tells me again that he will have today’s currier open all the boxes and look to see if it was placed in another mailbox as well. I explained to both Ryan and Clinton that this is an $800 item that has a 3 month lead time to make and is needed this weekend that filing a claim is not an option we must find it. So I come back home to my complex and check with front office again to see if it’s turned up anywhere there and one of the managers offers to go look in the boxes around mine. My package was in the box underneath of mine. I shortly after see the mail truck parked out front and to be helpful I go down to inform the currier we found the package it was misplaced in a box below mine so she doesn’t waste her time searching. To my surprise, she has no idea what im talking about. Clinton never notified her of the issue to check. Clearly Ryan never notified yesterdays currier to check either or it would have been discovered. After informing how important, expensive, and time sensitive this package was, neither Ryan or Clinton could be bothered to simply ask curriers to look for me after flat out lying to my face saying that’s what they would do. This isn’t even just bad customer service, you clearly do not care for customer concerns and are willing to lie to peoples face just to move them along and have zero intent of truly trying to be helpful. How either of you have jobs supervising is beyond my understanding. Zero star review for the zero percent effort you actually put into doing your job and doing what you promised to a customer. Ridiculous. Thankful your currier today was an honest person. Just do your job and care about helping people if you’re going to work in any form of customer service, good lord. Worthless.

I was advised to speak with a supervisor regarding the ongoing issues I’ve had with the Peninsula Post Office on Church Ave. I was told to ask for Mike, but he was unavailable, so I spoke with Dawn Nelson instead. I explained that my mail began going missing after I reported a rude employee at this location. In April, while I was out of town, mail from a sender I’ve never had issues with was returned to sender. Then on May 8, a package marked “delivered to PO Box” never appeared. These problems occurred weeks before I ultimately cancelled my PO Box due to unreliable service. Dawn assured me she would personally visit the Church Ave office, speak with the Level 7 employee and Station Supervisor, Broden Clark, and follow up with me by phone or email. It has now been a week, and I have received no update. At this point, it feels like no one is taking responsibility for missing mail, returned mail, or the lack of follow‑through. I never had issues with delivery until I reported the clerk’s behavior, and the timing is hard to ignore. Dawn was apologetic in person, but the promised follow‑up never happened. This experience reflects why the Peninsula Post Office on Church Ave has such poor customer service. Employees are rude, accountability is lacking, and management does not follow through. I should not have to cancel my PO Box out of concern that my mail will be “lost” or returned instead of delivered. UPDATE: I went back to Interbay to speak with Dawn Nelson to find out why I hadn’t heard from her. It turns out she no longer works there.

I come here very often to ship orders for my online business and everyone here is always so kind and helpful. Shawn especially stands out he is so kind and caring about his job. He always makes the experience so easy.

During my recent visit, I came in to mail a single Apple earbud that my son accidentally left behind during the holidays. When prompted at the screen to select a mailing category, I selected regular mail and saw a $2.44 charge. I am not a postal employee and am not familiar with mailing rates, so I reasonably relied on the system’s prompt. The clerk informed me that the $2.44 was only for the envelope. I acknowledged that and agreed to the next quoted price of $7.80 without any issue. However, she then made the comment, “I cannot believe why people think they can mail a package for $2.44,” said directly in front of me. I found this comment unnecessary, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I was polite throughout the interaction and simply trying to mail a small item. As a customer, I should not be spoken to in a condescending or judgmental manner for not knowing internal pricing. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve experienced poor customer service from this individual. This interaction was disappointing and does not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from the post office. The Post Office should reinforce basic customer service standards, including respectful communication and professionalism. Employees should not make condescending or judgmental remarks to customers who are unfamiliar with postal procedures or pricing. Staff who repeatedly demonstrate poor customer service should receive corrective action, up to and including removal from customer-facing roles if behavior does not improve. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect at all times.

Absolutely unacceptable. I pay for a PO Box specifically for secure delivery, and my valuable item was lost with no trace. The package was scanned as “picked up at the counter at 5:11 PM” after the post office was CLOSED. I was also at work at that time. This is not just inaccurate; it is impossible. Normally, PO Box items are scanned as “delivered to PO Box.” Instead, this incorrect scan falsely indicates that I personally picked up the item, conveniently after hours, and now the package cannot be located. USPS customer service has acknowledged the scan error and escalated the case, but the item remains missing. If you are receiving high-value or irreplaceable items, I strongly suggest avoiding this location. Once my subscription is up, I will be moving my PO Box to a different post office. Secure delivery should not result in lost property and false pickup scans.
