It’s funny this place gets all the low ratings due to possible mislabeling of services at this location. After arriving and realizing that this was not a full service post office, I asked one of the postal workers loading his truck and he provided me with another address that could assist me. He was very helpful.

My experience with the USPS Post Office at 4009 W Spruce St., Tampa, FL 33607 has deteriorated to a point where it is no longer just an inconvenience—it is affecting the reliable delivery of important and time-sensitive mail. On multiple occasions, packages marked “out for delivery” have suddenly been changed to “forwarded” without any request or authorization. This forces repeated trips to the post office to locate items, with inconsistent outcomes—sometimes the package is already back at the facility, other times it is still on a truck and eventually delivered later. This lack of predictability undermines confidence in the service. More seriously, important documents—including tax and property-related mail—have been lost. These are not ordinary items; they carry financial and legal significance, and their non-delivery introduces real risk. We have also received mail intended for other individuals at our address. While we make every effort to ensure it reaches the rightful recipients, we do so because we are not comfortable placing that responsibility back into a system where items may be lost. I do want to acknowledge the personnel on the ground. I feel sorry for the pressure the few postal workers left at their jobs are put under in the name of cost savings put in place after Louis DeJoy was appointed to be the 75th United States Postal Master in May 2020. However, from a customer standpoint, those cost savings appear to be coming at the expense of service reliability. Under U.S. law, the United States Postal Service operates under a “universal service obligation.” This means it must provide mail services to all U.S. addresses, service must be uniform and reasonably priced, and it must apply nationwide—including rural and remote areas. This obligation is established under Title 39 of the U.S. Code. At present, the level of service being experienced does not align with those expectations. Reliable mail delivery is not optional—it is a fundamental service, a public utility that residents depend on.

This isnt full service post office. Not even a blue box here to drop-off envelopes , there is however a tiny box for postal mail on a wall if you walk up to it but this place is shady and seems useless I wouldn't go here. Airport is a nice USPS In tampa with good hours 😌

This is like a giant mailbox. Useless if you're looking for a USPS. This should be listed differently. It's very inconvenient and the employees are ANCIENT. If you talk to one.

Not a full service post office. Doesn't sell stamps or any shipping supplies. If you need those please go to Airport location or 1802 N Howard Ave. If your letter or package has all the necessary postage we can take it.
