Richard Martin 4 months agoThey Do Not Care – Avoid This Distribution Center at all costs I ordered an item that shipped through USPS and everything was progressing normally until it reached this distribution center. My package sat there for four days before finally arriving. When it arrived, it was inside one of the USPS “We Care” bags stating that the package had been damaged. However, the bag I received was completely empty, with a slit down the middle where the contents had clearly fallen out or been removed. I understand accidents happen in shipping. Packages tear or become damaged during transit. But what is unacceptable is what happened afterward. I filed a missing mail request immediately, and three months later USPS is still sending automated emails saying they are “searching” for the item, with no resolution. The item I ordered is not easily replaceable, and I have not been able to find another one since. Receiving an empty bag with no accountability or explanation is extremely frustrating. If you are sending something valuable or personal, I would strongly reconsider using USPS through this distribution center
NikkiTwoShoes DA 5 months agoLast time my package went through Ybor- It arrived fine. This time I’ve gotten no news on it (tbf- It’s only been a day since it was supposed to arrive- And it was forwarded at another location). I wonder if the employees at this facility are underpaid or overworked. Or if they have old equipment or smth. 🤔 After all the stories I’ve heard about packaging and mailing centres, I feel like anything is possible. Giving them 2 stars FOR NOW- I will update my review if/when my package arrives. (Reading these reviews got me nervous fr fr. 😵💫) Praying everything comes through and I can drop a 3 or 4 star rating for ya’ll. 🙏 Update: Everything arrived fine. Just took an extra week or so. XD Store who shipped to me says this tends to happen a lot with USPS- (as well as packages being sent to the wrong place several times over) They may just have a LOT of packages to go through. According to their experience, packages getting stolen or lost is uncommon. 🤷♀️ *It’s not impossible. But just mentioning to ease people’s anxieties. Wait about a week before contacting a seller about a delayed package. You/They apparently can’t file for missing mail until 15 days after it’s sent out (so if it takes longer than two weeks). Happy sending/buying! ✨
Furi 3 months agoPackage has been stuck there 6 days. Normally its 1 day extra to the shipping process which is irritating if its something time sensitive but its just been sent back and forth consistently now. What I had ordered on the 6th is now still not here. If it had not been sent to this center I would have had my items several days ago.. Get some more staff, or atleast better ones. This centers management should be ashamed of themselves.
Nicole L 4 months agoDo you guys intentionally send packages to the wrong facilities? Why is it every time I order from a specific store you guys ALWAYS send it to the wrong place and delay the package. My package arrived in my towns usps and then somehow went two hours away like it never got off the truck, only to end up back at your facility for you guys to hopefully get it right this time? Is there a way to make it so my packages don’t go through your distribution center because you’re literally the worst.
Raymond Budd 2 months agoIn the last 30 days alone, the Ybor City Distribution Center has grossly mishandled two of my packages by sending them to the completely wrong post offices. First, a box of contact lenses was routed far away from my local branch. Most recently, and most unacceptably, they missorted my passport and sent it to another distant facility. The sorting operations here are a mess. The only positive part of this experience was a USPS district coordinator named Amy Alley, who went out of her way to help me locate my missing passport.
