People at passport counter are very rude. Every single person there. Better off going to Derby library although there was 1 rude male employee but the rest were nice.

It's inside the post office but a separate counter. Enter the building turn left. We had a great experience. I made 2 appointment for 2 kids at the same times less than 48 hours before we went. Walked in, no wait we were done in less than 15 minutes. We did come in with the forms completed, photos in hand (got them at Walgreens there terrible, have them taken here for the same price and possibly better pics) checkbook ready to go. Bri g all your originals and copies and it is easy as pie here. This is my 4th round getting kids passports and the most pleasant I've experienced.

The guy at the passport desk was actually somewhat helpful, which was refreshing. He did mess up my picture though, which meant of course more money and I had to wait over a month longer to get my passport. Take your photo at Walgreens!

The lady who does the passports is grumpy and not very pleasant and I don't understand why they make appointments here because she opened 30mins late and your supposed to arrive 10 minutes early. I recommend going elsewhere for your passport.
