I get emails from the post office letting me know what mail will be delivered that day. We sometimes don't even get our mail. So, we never received yesterday's mail. There's no way to track our mail. Did the mail person stop delivering at a certain time because it was late? We haven't been getting our mail or if we finally get mail it's late at night.

My mail constantly gets postmarked late - usually about 2 or 3 days. When I take it to the post office by my work it gets postmarked the same day. I also have a lot of problems receiving mail. Our mailbox has our name and number on it, but our mailmen are constantly putting ours in other people's boxes, or others' in our boxes. I don't think they even lok.

Why you can't buy a prepaid label at a counter to send a package?. When you send a parcel at the counter, the post office must accept your parcel to fulfill its service commitments, such as delivery date and insurance. However, if you use a kiosk or online service, you are only purchasing prepaid postage; the post office only commits to the service from the moment you hand the parcel over to them.

Ida helped me out and really went above and beyond to assist me with a package that didn’t get delivered due to a clerical error. I didn’t expect such incredible service from a phone call. Everyone is always great at the counter as well but this remote experience was fantastic. Thank you!

Went here today because I'm flying out of the country on Sunday and wanted to preemptively get and pay for a flat rate box to ship my cable modem back that day before heading to the airport. Walked up to the clerk and he was like, "those boxes are free" - I had to explain to him 2 or 3 times what I was trying to do and then he was just like, "go to the kiosk," and pointed toward the lobby. The kiosk wasn't working. Went back in. By this point another clerk was also there, and also didn't understand why I wanted to buy postage for a flat rate box ahead of time - you work for the post office, even someone with a USPS IQ should understand that the post office is not open on Sunday and that buying postage for it in person that day will not be possible, and that if I just put a bunch of stamps on it it will be considered anonymous mail. Then she tried to refuse to sell it to me ahead of time because she said it would throw off the tracking if the postage was bought that far before it got shipped out, but if that were an actual issue and not something she made up on the spot to get out of doing her job, why does USPS allow you to buy and print postage at home? I worked for USPS and it's practically impossible to get fired even if you purposely do things the wrong way, so it's not like these people were afraid of getting in trouble for doing something in a way they think is wrong. They're just too simple minded or lazy to complete any transactions that are remotely complicated.
