I want to put in a complaint about the mail woman who delivers at the Villa Monterey apartments at 12:30 Burnham avenue. I'm not getting my mail. I'm always getting someone else's mail and she is always cussing. She's always on her phone while putting the mail in the wrong boxes. My husband and I always receive our mail in votes at the same time. He received his I have not received mine. So many times I received someone else's mail and I walked over to his apartment to give it to him. Where is my mail? She is a disgrace!!!

I went here at 2pm on 12/18/25 to send a package and my papers for a new passport. The man asked me if I had everything ready. I replied, "I think so". Then he snarkily asked if I had an envelope. There is no information of how the documents will be sent, only that they need to be submitted to an acceptance facility. I figured, since I was going to a post office, I would be able to buy an envelope there if needed. Then he asked if I was renewing or getting a new passport. I was getting a new one because my old one was lost many years ago. He told me I had to start all the way over again, that none of my papers were correct, and just kept going on and on about how I had to start all over again. He told me I had to fill out a form saying my passport was lost or stolen and that I needed to fill out a DS-11 and get an appointment. Which would be accurate, except that my last passport was issued more than 15 years ago (so it was expired) and the paper I had was, in fact, the DS-11. I told him that it was the form that Travel.State.Gov had navigated me to after answering the questions on the website. I told him that the USPS website was misleading about needing an appointment. Don't have a problem getting an appointment, just felt the need to defend myself. He told me I was wrong and just kept repeating that I had to start all over again. He made quite a big deal about it, when really I just needed to get an appointment. Then he kept telling me everything else I needed to do, even though he could see my folder of paperwork and I already had my pictures. I ended up being the one to move on to shipping a package because he kept going on and on. I usually ship at my local mailbox service and they make a label even if I already have an address taped on the box. I handed him the address for the box. He looked at me like I was stupid and asked if I was going to use that as my label. I explained that I thought they created a label. He got all flustered, pointed at a shelf and said I needed to make a label and then he walked away because they were calling him from the back. I looked at the shelf, didn't see an empty shipping label. I asked the woman in the next bay if she knew which label he was talking about. She immediately got an attitude, "I don't know, I wasn't standing here!" I showed her the box and she asked if I was shipping one day, or two day, or the cheapest. "The cheapest, right?!" I said I didn't know because we hadn't discussed it yet. The man came back with a label and I asked him if I needed a different one depending on how I decided to ship. He said no, we did that after. He explained where to write my name and the other name, which I figured was just something they always say because anyone that has ever sent, received, or seen a piece of mail knows where the sender and the recipient goes. I started to write down the recipient in the correct spot and he got all loud with me and tried to mansplain again which went where. I was clearly copying the address of the recipient in the space for the recipient. I said, "Yeah, that's why I am writing it here!" Look, I know they are busy this time of year, but they weren't even busy when I was in there. There was not a line building up and he even helped a man who was only picking up while he was helping me, which I completely agree with. I would have happily gotten back in line had there been a label on the shelf for me to fill out. I did get info about how to make an appointment, which was nice. I remembered later that the reason I had not done that before was because I spoke with someone on the phone when the website wasn't working and she told me that she was unable to make an appointment for me because the new system wants to verify your identity, so it has to be done online. She, by the way was very pleasant to speak to. Anyway, there's no reason to be rude. That guy obviously needs to feel smarter than other people because his only joy in life is talking about how dumb the people are that have questions and maybe haven't done something at the post office before.

I like this USPS because the employees are very nice and knowledgeable. I had dropped off a package and the label was a little dark. The CS was a man and he knew what to do so he received the package. I was happy with his service.

This office's rating is only low because of people's experiences getting packages delivered. The office itself and the in-person shipping experience is the best I've found in the area -- quick, quiet, and easy!

I have never had an issue here. Today when I arrived there were six customers ahead of me. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
