dabie kwabena 3 months agoToday (03/28/2026) I want to share a heartfelt thank you to an incredible postal worker, Mr. Rick Garcia, the relief supervisor filling in at the 111 Alvarado Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 station. In a time when my mail was nearly lost, Mr. Rick went above and beyond—taking the extra time, care, and effort to make sure it found its way back to me. What could have easily been dismissed as “not my problem” became a moment of true dedication and kindness. It’s people like Mr. Rick who remind us what real service and integrity look like. The kind of person who doesn’t just do the job—but does it with pride, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others. That kind of work ethic—that kind of heart—is rare. And it matters more than ever. Mr. Rick, you didn’t just deliver mail… you delivered peace of mind, trust, and a reminder that good people are still out here making a difference every single day. We need more people like this in our society. Thank you, Mr. Rick Garcia, for your hard work, your perseverance, and for making a difference in a way that truly matters. It did not go unnoticed.
J Key 4 months agoI was there last Friday morning, the 6th of February to mail off a bday present 🎁 to a good friend of mine and to pick up a letter that they were holding on to as I got that slip of paper saying was there. After I paid for my friend's gift to be mailed out (who also lives in town and has not received it yet), I gave them that slip of paper so that he can get my letter. He goes to the back and I never saw him again. I asked the other guy if he wouldn't mind checking on him, after a severe eye roll, he doesn't even go to the back, just through the door and looked around where he could see as much as I could, comes back out and tells me, "he'll be out in a minute." How would he know? He didn't check. I waited another minute before walking out; it wasn't even busy. There were maybe two others there while I was there. I usually didn't have a problem with this post office when the older gentlemen are working it, but the kids working there all act like we owe them something and how dare us for asking for their assistance! In anything!! I also filed a mail theft complaint/charge since it's been 8 days now and my friend never received her present. So yeah, mail theft happens there too, so don't mail ANYTHING without a tracking number, they can't be trusted and will be investigated.
S S 6 months agoThe mail carriers love saying that my mail slot is VACANT. This is the 3rd time I've had to go into this location to inform them that I have been living there for 5mo now. Been waiting on my drivers license for about 2mo. Everything that I reorder my ID they put a slip in my mail box saying I need to verify my address, even though I have done it 3 times already. When going into this location all they say is that we'll speak with the driver and let them know that this Mail Slot if not VACANT. Unfortunately I get ads but when my bills or something else important is coming they put one of the VACANT red cards or green cards in my box. Went in today 0330pm 12.15.2025, waited in line for 40mins just to be told that they don't have slips to get my mail held! This is the worst location in ABQ.
Paulette Buche 2 months agoThe staff is kind and helpful but the government has cut funding for more help. Lines are long everytime ive ever been there and you have to wait 30 days for a key to apt. Mailbox.
Kelly 3 months agoPretty sure the delivery person has been stealing my free samples as there are MANY packages of mine that have simply never arrived. Also, my personal letters from my mother that have TYPED address have been returned to sender even though I've been living at my current residence for almost 2 years. This postal service is a JOKE
