The two employees working were great, nice and helpful. Horrible parking and wait times. Hire more tellers to help out the employees currently there. It was a constant flow of people even with an appointment. Again, tellers were great, just hire more to help them out.

I have a family emergency that requires me to travel in 3 weeks. I checked online and tried to make an appointment and they have none. I checked online to make sure they accept walk in passport applications at the Allen location and they do. I go and they have a sign on the front door saying they aren’t doing walk ins due to staffing. There is no one in line. No one here and the women go in the back. One woman says to another that she’s not doing a walk in passport. Mind you, there are three employees here. No customers in line. I have been here for ten mins. This is so unprofessional considering I called and verified yesterday, came when they aren’t busy and this is nowhere on their website or in their phone system. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

After reading the reviews, especially lots negative reviews, I really appreciate the informative parts. However, as a federal facility, there is very limited efforts for staffs to change any of those situations, especially passport issues. I witnessed today from 7:30-8:30 that the staff had to repeatedly explain to people who were not happy or had attitude to her. She had her the best patience and tried her best to be professional and respectful. Unfortunately, some customers were angry about the limit service about passports with attitude or verbally being rude. I can totally understand if she has attitude too. Fortunately, she didn’t lose her calmness and actually help people to make an appointment on ‘self-service’ system. We need to give her applauses and be nice and more understanding. Yes, I was there 4:30am this morning. Pancake pantry’s breakfast was a reward to myself. lol

Two days ago, my brother came to this address to change his address. He had his passport and documents showing his new address. Despite this, they asked him for a rental agreement. An hour later, I went with him and explained that the rental contract was in my name and that he lived with me. We had all the necessary documents, but even after going twice, they didn't help us. They were supposed to help, but they didn't. Then we went to another place and showed the employees the documents we had, asking if they were sufficient. They said they were. So, think carefully before coming here (I suspect they are being racist).

Gross incompetence is the only way to describe Lori’s effort today. I was in line for my Noon passport appointment scheduled 3 weeks prior when she asked “who’s in line for a passport appt” at 1204. She then proceeded to tell me that my 5 min grace period was up and refused to explain any documentation that was needed or assist with rescheduling. I asked how is it possible at 1204 my 5 min grace period was expired? Her answer was: “I don’t know what time you got in line”… Despite standing in line already and watching me walk in the door??? What a miserable experience and miserable person. Do not come to this location for a passport - pick literally any other location in Nashville or surrounding areas if you need to renew or get a new passport.
