I never have had an issue with any employee at the West Seattle post office in 18 years. I just watched and heard how a post office employee treated a elderly person about 10 minutes ago. Freaking appalling!!! Do better! Some day you will be old too, I hope you are not treated as such. I, and another person had to step up to help because the employee was extremely unhelpful and rude. Then when the person who stepped up to further help the elderly person a 3rd time. The employee said, "I will help them". Absolutely dripping with attitude and condenseding tone. Well.... you weren't as a whole line of people witnessed 🙄. Even on my worst days I don't treat people like that and I work in customer service too. Just do better!

Who reviews a post office? It's old, the employees are grumpy, and the old lady in front of me in line with 7 boxes is apparently mailing stuff for the first time. It's a post office.

The WORST post office ever! They lost my medicine package and only admitted after numerous calls where I followed up with them on a daily basis for 10 days! The staff showed no sense of urgency in helping me track my medicine or provide a reason as to what happened. I think there’s a racket being run out of this office where packages ‘go missing’ and someone needs to investigate.

I've had multiple issues with the asian woman working at the front. Im not sure if it's a language barrier or lack of training but when I ask her questions she offers little to no response and just stares. I watched the same thing happen to the person in line behind me yesterday as well~ I ended up going with the wrong shipping option and am now frantic my package isnt going to make it in time, which is my fault, but having dialogue about my options would have helped tremendously.

I showed up right at the end of the day, totally expecting to be turned away, but the staff here went above and beyond to help me out. They made sure everything got out on time and were incredibly kind and efficient. Honestly had a great experience—super grateful for their help. Thank you!
