Saw all the bad experiences people had and maybe those workers have been reprimanded/replaced by good workers? Only had one visit so who knows, but I came to send my passport renewal documents and got recommended different flat rate envelopes and even loaned a pair of scissors and free manila folder to help me divide my documents. I went to a desk to finish my packaging then returned to line and was very efficiently moved up the line a second time and was able to mail off my package swiftly and by a kind and knowledgeable staff member. Hopefully this place continues to be better for the community and the problems of yesterday are no more.

I quickly learned why this location has an exceptionally low score today. After waiting for 20 minutes, we were informed that the only person working the tills needed to take their lunch break and so the post office was fully closed for 30 minutes in the middle of the day, and that no one else could possibly help us, including the woman who told us. not only that, but she was rude as she informed us as if we were the ones inconveniencing her. The guy was apologetic and very understanding, but the woman left a bad taste in all of our mouths. This place is embarrassingly understaffed, avoid at all Costs

One of the clerks here is a giant bee. Waited in like for 20 min only for the lady to say she has decided she won't do any "typing on the computer" after 2pm. She said she announced this at 2pm. I had arrived after so I didn't get the memo. I asked if this is some policy or if there was some reason she couldn't do any typing on the computer after 2pm? Since shipping packages requires typing, it seemed odd. She replied "I don't feel like it". What the actual duck? This is absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to this community. I don't know what kind of job allows this type of behavior.

Mailed package. Crazy person ran inside the building screaming obscure things. Then ran back outside. Employee s are safe behind their desks . Did not say or do anything to help baffled customers regarding this stranger freaking out .

Terrible service! Arrived at 3:30 PM on a Monday (NOT a holiday and found the lights off and pullover door shut. The last time I was here the worker was taking a break in the garage so other customers and I waited about 5 minutes for them to come serve us. I poked my head in and called for someone and the main worker I’ve seen there who’s always in a sour mood and treats regular customers like they’re the flu looks out and says “we’re closed.” I reply in a regular voice, “Your hours say open until 5.” She says, “I can’t open because I don’t have anyone here to run the counter. That’s why the door is closed and lights are off.” I ask when they’ll be open tomorrow and she says they should be regular hours. By this point about half a dozen other customers have gathered and are perplexed as I am. Several come from low-resource communities and make remarks like, “well my bill isn’t going to wait to get paid.” Please find workers to keep your establishment open the hours you’re listed to be—especially on a Monday afternoon when you’ve been closed the weekend! Some people travel significant distances to get here since there’s not a lot of Post Offices in Seattle, and you didn’t have so much as a sign on the front door indicating the place was closed. Terrible customer service!
